    摘要: In a hand-held power tool including a gear for driving an output shaft, which is situated in an assigned gear housing, and including a mode-setting unit for setting the operating mode for an impact drilling mode, a drilling mode, or a screwing mode, the mode-setting unit including a rotatable actuating element and a rotatable setting element coupled to the rotatable actuating element. The setting element is coupled, at least in one operating mode, to a transmission element which is mounted on the gear housing and is axially displaceable on the gear housing in a screwing position assigned to the screwing mode and is axially fixed on the gear housing in impact drilling and drilling positions assigned to the impact drilling and drilling modes. The actuating element and the setting element are formed as one piece from plastic.

    摘要: Percussion device, includes a housing and two movable bodies, an impact body for an impact pin protruding from the housing, and a balancing body for counterbalancing impact motions of the impact body. The housing includes springs, which constantly strive to bring the bodies towards each other and against the action of which the bodies may be separated axially. The balancing body is rotatable, via a drive spindle connected to a driving source the spindle being mounted in a bearing member, at least one of the bodies including an oblique surface, which, by contact against the other body, transforms the rotary motion of the balancing body into axial motions of the impact body. Rotation of the bearing member is prevented by a helical pressure spring attached to the bearing member and the housing. In this way, tangential vibrations cannot be transferred from the drive spindle to the housing.

    摘要: A vibrating drill/driver includes a motor for driving a spindle about the longitudinal axis thereof, a switching handle supported for rotation about a longitudinal axis thereof, a clutch mechanism for varying a working torque in dependence on rotation of the switching handle, a switching ring having a recess and capable of rotating together with the switching handle, and a switching plate having a tip for engagement in the recess. A vibrating cam mechanism is provided to be operable to undergo a slidable engagement to provide a vibration for the spindle in an axial direction thereof when the tip of the switching plate is engaged in the recess of the switching ring. With the above-described construction, the rotation of the switching handle in one direction causes the vibrating drill/driver to be set in one of a clutch mode, a vibrating mode, and a drilling mode in this order.

A pair of cam followers 54 are located within a cam track 44 provided on the cam member 42, such that rotation of the cam 42 causes axial movement of the cam followers 54, which may be attached to a drive shaft 48 and a tool bit 12. A range of shapes of cam track 44 are described, each of which is non-sinusoidal in shape. Various embodiments of the invention provide non-sinusoidal cam tracks having forward or rearward throw sections which are respectively steeper, shorter, or provide greater acceleration of the cam followers than sinusoidal cam tracks of equivalent wavelength and amplitude. Related piston and cylinder devices and reciprocal drive means are also described.

    摘要: A motor driven cam and spring impact tool with an improved mounting for the cam. The impact tool includes a driving shaft for rotation relative to the housing. A hammer is positioned in the housing for axial movement with respect to the housing. An annular cam with cam rollers translates the rotational motion of the hammer. A spring urges the hammer in one direction to cause an impact upon each reciprocation. A collar, driven by the shaft, is connected to the cam for rotating it with respect to the rollers. A pair of pins are connected between the cam and the collar for driving the cam. The holes in the cam receiving the pins are enlarged in the direction of rotation to allow the cam to move a selected distance with respect to the pins. This creates backlash at the drop off points on the camming surface.
