    摘要: A transfer device for self-propelling workpiece trolleys of a transport system allows ends of one or more route sections to be continuously or intermittently connected. The ends of the route sections are either connected via transfer sections that are rigid and bent at least in sections, or a transfer section—which can be moved along a straight or curved track curve and supporting one or more workpiece trolleys—can be temporarily arranged before the ends of the route sections, which transfer section can be moved back and forth between the ends via a driveable gear unit. At least one transfer device for a transport and/or processing system is developed, with which the workpiece trolleys are transferred from one route section to another.

    摘要: A transferring mechanism for transferring a workpiece from a tray to a fixture is provided. The transferring mechanism includes a main bracket defining an uploading hole thereon, an uploading assembly, a pick-up assembly and a transferring assembly. The pick-up assembly is located under the uploading hole. The pick-up assembly is mounted on the main bracket above the uploading hole. The transferring assembly includes a fixing bracket and a first transferring subassembly and a blocking member. The fixing bracket is mounted on the main bracket and located under the pick-up assembly. The first transferring subassembly is mounted on the fixing bracket. The blocking member is mounted on the first transferring subassembly and includes a driving portion. The driving portion moves upward to block and position the fixture to enable the pick-up assembly to release the workpiece on the fixture.

    摘要: A mechanical pallet lift, such as incorporated into a conveyor driven process, having a base. A lower frame is displaceably supported upon the base and includes a first plurality of upwardly extending and spaced apart walls. An upper frame includes a second plurality of downwardly extending and spaced apart walls which nest in offsetting fashion with the first plurality of walls in an initial position. A rotary driven crank includes a first linkage elevating the upper frame so that the second walls are located above the first walls, a second linkage successively displacing the lower frame to cause the first walls to align with the second walls concurrent with the first linkage reverse lowering the upper frame to seat upon the lower frame. A limit stroke bracket surrounds the base includes column supports which, upon shifting in the elevated position, are engaged by horizontal exterior supports mounted to said upper frame upon reverse actuating of said crank at an intermediate elevated position.

    摘要: A machine for fastening rail plates to cross-ties, utilizing spikes or the like, and method therefore, is disclosed in the present invention. The present invention further is configured to facilitate the installation of threaded spikes or screws, as are utilized in high-speed, concrete and other cross-ties. A numerically controlled drilling station is therefore provided for selectively positioning a drill about the length of the cross-tie for drilling bores into the tie, along with a separate screwed pre-plating station which may include a template for positioning the tie, a plate dispenser (or manual plate loading means), and a positionable driving mechanisms for engaging and screwing threaded spikes or screws into the bores formed by the drilling station to securely pre-plate each plate on a tie, which may be wood or concrete, traditional or high-speed. The present system is particularly suitable for pre-plating cross-tie for forming turnouts, which require that each tie along a curve be drilled in a separate location. Accordingly, utilizing CAD or other input information, a computer can automatically control the numerically controlled drill station to drill out each tie to form the desired turnout, greatly reducing the time, expense, and risk associated with this procedure.

    摘要: A machine tool loading apparatus is adapted to register the sheets being loaded directly in the workclamps of the machine tool. A four bar linkage is utilized to control the position of the sheet as the loader removes it from the supply stack and brings it into the workclamps. The four bar linkage is provided with a controlled amount of compliance which is released as the sheet is brought into the workclamps. The sheet is thus allowed a limited ability to be repositioned as the loading mechanism guides it into the workclamps, so that a registered position is achieved before the workclamps are closed. The preferred loader apparatus can be used to unload large parts from the machine tool. The loader apparatus may be adapted to the machine tool in conjunction with a material storage tower.

    摘要: A resin coating system includes a coating station for applying resin to dynamo-electric machine components such as electric motor armatures, one or more other stations adjacent to the coating station, a conveyor for transporting components through the coating station where the components are carried by holders holding at least one end of the components without touching the body portion of the components, another conveyor for transporting components through the other stations where the components are carried by holders supporting the body portion of the components, and a transfer device for transferring uncoated and coated components between the two conveyors. The holders attached to the conveyor in the coating station are capable of rotating the components about the longitudinal axis of each component during the coating operation for an even application of the resin to the component. The holders attached to the conveyor for transporting armatures through the other stations are of simpler and less expensive construction. Prior to resin application, the components may be heated by electrical resistance heating of their coils and by electromagnetic induction heating of their ferromagnetic cores.
