    摘要: A honing machine (100) for honing rotationally symmetrical bore holes in workpieces has a honing spindle (120), which is movably mounted in a spindle housing (130), is rotatable about a spindle axis (122) by means of a rotary drive (140), can be driven in an oscillating manner parallel to the spindle axis by means of a lifting drive (150) and has at a tool-side end means for securing a honing tool arrangement (200), which has a tool body (220) carrying at least one honing element, which by axial displacement of a tool-side expanding element (330) that is axially displaceable inside the tool body can be infed radially in relation to a tool axis (214) and can be pressed by a pressing force against an inner side of a bore hole to be machined. Also provided is an expanding system with a machine-side expanding rod (310), which is guided inside the honing spindle (120), is axially displaceable by means of an expanding drive (320) in relation to the honing spindle and has a tool-side end portion (314), for coupling onto the tool-side expanding element (330). The honing machine has a control device (400) for controlling operating movements of the honing spindle and the expanding system and a force measuring system with a force sensor (500) for generating a sensor signal proportional to the pressing force and a transmission path for transmitting the sensor signal or a signal derived therefrom to the control device. The force sensor (500) is arranged in the region of the tool-side end portion (314) of the machine-side expanding rod (310) and is connected to the control device by way of a telemetric transmission path.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for monitoring a machining tool that is used for machining primarily metal materials, comprising a cutting tool, wherein the cutting force, feed force, and passive force can be adjusted during machining, and comprising sensors to measure forces. In order that machining can be stopped 2 to 60 seconds, preferably 2 to 10 seconds, prior to failure of the cutting body, the invention proposes that the sensors continuously sense at least one of said forces during machining and machining is stopped if a sudden reduction in the sensed force occurs.

    摘要: A method for ascertaining deformations of a geometric body or for measuring forces or torques acting thereon using force measuring sensors or deformation measuring sensors. A plurality of such sensors are arranged on the geometric body in at least two groups. A first group of sensors registers forces acting on the geometric body or deformations of the geometric body in a first spatial direction with reference to a coordinate system fixed relative to the geometric body. A second group of sensors registers forces acting on the geometric body or deformations thereof in a second spatial direction with reference to the coordinate system fixed relative to the geometric body, which is independent of the first spatial direction. Signal outputs of the sensors are compared to one another for the purpose of registering and evaluating signals and for determining or assessing force components or deformation components acting in different spatial directions.

Bearings for radial as well as axial support of the drill spindle relative to the housing are provided. The radial support bearings are arranged to transfer radial forces only, and a thrust bearing is arranged to transfer axial forces between the housing and the drill spindle. The thrust bearing is associated with an axial load sensing device by which signals are generated in response to the axial load applied on the drill spindle.

    摘要: An apparatus and a method for checking the machining process of a machine tool, for instance a grinding machine (1), to get information about the quantity of the material removed and the wear condition of the grinding wheel (9). The apparatus includes an acoustic sensor (19) adapted to detect the acoustic signals generated by contact between the grinding-wheel and the piece (13) to be machined, and a force-detecting sensor (21) adapted to detect the force applied between grinding-wheel and piece during the machining. The method includes processing signals provided by both the sensors, to define time intervals (ti-tf) on the basis of the signals (SA) of the acoustic sensor, and to monitor the signals (SF) of the force-detecting sensor in the so-defined intervals.
