摘要: The invention is directed to a drill system that better uses the power curve of modern machine tools. The drill system uses a two-step drill, utilizing IC inserts to perform the major hole diameter cutting, and a central drilling system. In examples, the IC inserts can be set in a drill head in a single or double effective configuration. A central drilling system cuts the remaining minor diameter portion of the hole, and is configured to see less cutting surface footage, due to its position from the rotating center of the tool. The central drilling system may include a “self-centering” geometry, such that the drill head of the tool with be guided throughout the depth of the hole. The drill system allows for a large diameter deep hole that remains straight throughout to be drilled at higher speed and lighter feed rates thus offering a more productive tool that takes advantage of the power curves and lower thrust capabilities of modern machine tools.

摘要: A three-way indexable throwaway tip for deep-hole drilling can be used as a center cutting blade body for a drill head in either whole cutting type or uncut core break-off type applications. The throwaway tip for deep-hole drilling is of a thick plate body having a three-fold symmetry with three cutting sections that are rotationally spaced apart at a central angle of 120 degrees. When mounted on a drill head, one cutting section of the throwaway tip faces a drilling direction. The forward facing blade edge of that cutting section includes an inner blade edge shorter in blade length and an outer blade edge longer in blade length forming an apex. The outer blade edge is composed of two consecutive blade edge portions of a peak-side outer blade edge portion having a smaller outer blade edge angle and a corner-side outer blade edge portion having a larger outer blade edge angle.

摘要: A device for drilling or boring openings, primarily deep openings, comprises a cutter head with guides, said head being equipped with a device for displacing the cutter in the radial direction from the drive. A sensor for checking variations in the wall thickness of the component, a sensor of the angle of rotation of the component, a sensor of the angle of rotation of the cutter head and a sensor for checking the wobbling of the component are connected to the DPC system. 摘要: A tool includes a shaft and a blade support which is disposed in a removable manner on the face of the shaft, preferably embodied as a drill bit. One end of the blade support is provided with a transversal rib that extends beyond an end face. It can be inserted into an accommodating device of the shaft, which is delimited by a planar counterface, and can be clamped by clamping screws. In order to ensure sufficient torque transmission even with small bore diameters, the accommodating device is provided with two entraining sections that are separated by a central gap, are disposed in a twofold rotationally symmetric manner relative to the tool axis, and protrude from the counterface of the shaft essentially parallel to the axis. Each entraining section encompasses an axially parallel entraining area for an adjacent transversal rib section, which points in the direction of rotation of the shaft.

摘要: A double or multiple-edged drilling tool has a base body rotatable about a drilling axis, and at least two plate seats arranged on the front face for accommodating identical interchangeable cutting plates. The cutting plates each have a machining face, and a clearance face adjoining a principal cutting edge forming a cutting wedge, and a seat face facing away from the clearance face. A guiding land adjoins radially outwardly through each edge the machining face, the clearance face and optically the seat face. The cutting plates each have a hole for a retaining screw which is screwed into a threaded bore at the front face of the base body. The holes are aligned with their axis perpendicular to the clearance face of the associated cutting plates the threaded bores are aligned inclined to the drilling axis and inclined to each other in the base body.

摘要: An extrusion press method for production of sintered blanks comprising at least one internal, spirally extending channel, the plastic material forming the blank being pressed out of the mouth of a nozzle of an extrusion press in the form of a substantially circular cylindrical pipe. The plastic material which exits from the mouthpiece of the nozzle in a substantially twist-free manner flows along the axis of at least one spirally twisted pin which is maintained in a stable position on a gudgeon of the nozzle. The pin does not rotate, the plastic material in the mouth is displaced in a twisted flow corresponding to the spiral shape of the pin and the rotational movement of the plastic material is supported by a rotationally driven section of the mouth, which is engaged on the outer periphery of the material such that the pin is essentially not subjected to bending deformation.
