摘要: Provided is a different materials panel structure having reduced occurrence of displacement or warping of a joining section and having excellent external appearance of an outer panel (2). The different materials panel structure has: an outer panel comprising a first metal material; an inner panel (3) arranged on the lower surface side of the outer panel and comprising a second metal material having a higher fusion point than the first metal material; and a rivet (6) comprising the same material as the second metal material and comprising a head section and a shaft section. An outer panel comprises a hemmed section formed by folding a rim section and which supports the inner panel via an adhesive layer (9). The head section of the rivet remains on the outer panel surface. The shaft section of the rivet penetrates from the lower surface side of the hemmed section of the outer panel towards the inner panel. A tip of the shaft section is spot-welded to the inner panel and a protruding section (3a) is provided in the inner panel at a position corresponding to the rivet and protruding in the axial direction of the rivet. A heat insulation section (8) comprising the adhesive layer or the adhesive layer and a gap is formed between the protruding section after welding and the outer panel.

摘要: A composite skin for the aeronautics and astronautics industries, and also a method for producing a composite skin of this type is provided. The method comprises the following method steps: removing excess material from a butt plate to form a butt strap at one end thereof, subsequently connecting the other end of the butt plate to a skin plate with a substance-to-substance bond, and then fastening a further skin plate to the butt strap to form the composite skin. The idea behind the invention involves replacing a rivet connection with a substance-to-substance bond. This provides the advantage that the weight of the composite skin and the production costs for the composite skin are reduced.

摘要: In order to improve a method for producing a carrier body for a friction lining of a disk brake in such a way that the rigid connection between a friction lining carrier plate of the carrier body and a first damper mass of the carrier body is more robust, it is proposed to exert a force which is directed perpendicularly onto the first pin-shaped projection, by way of pressing, until the first pin-shaped projection is upset to such an extent that it forms a positively locking connection with an inner wall of the first hole in regions inside the first hole.

摘要: A holeless plate member riveting method for riveting a retaining member to a holeless plate member using a press by: placing the holeless plate member on a first die of the press and attaching a mounting structure of the retaining member to the holeless plate member opposite to the first die, and then attaching a cavity of a second die of the press to the retaining member, and then operating the press to stamp the second die against the retaining member and the first die, forcing a cutting edge of the mounting structure of the retaining member to cut into the holeless plate member to the extent where a toothed portion and annular locating groove of an engagement structure of the retaining member are kept in permanent engagement with a deformed part of the holeless plate member.

摘要: Tooling and a method of employing tooling to produce beneficial stress waves in a substrate to provide high fatigue life structures. Stress waves are provided to work a substrate, causing dimples in the workpiece, along a uniform pressure profile in the workpiece. By use of the method, uniform beneficial residual stress is provided at surface and midplane apertures in a workpiece, so as to improve overall fatigue life. An improved tool shape is described, having a smooth curve, rather than a flat punch. Also, the use of a consumable wafer provides additional uniform stress profile benefits.
