    摘要: A method for manufacturing a single chainring (1) which prevents a chain (3) from easily falling off and is low-cost is provided. The method for manufacturing a single chainring (1) comprises a step of forming neutral teeth (A) having a thickness allowing the neutral teeth (A) to be smoothly insertable into an inner link gap of a chain (3) and further comprises one or both of a step of forming outward teeth (B) by bending a part of the neutral teeth (A) outwardly in such a manner that the outward teeth (B) are insertable into an outer link gap of the chain (3) and a step of forming inward teeth (C) by bending a part of the neutral teeth (A) inwardly in such a manner that the inward teeth (C) are insertable into the outer link gap of the chain (3).

    摘要: A bicycle is provided having a unitary steering tube-crown member and a unitary crank arm-spindle member. A multistage aluminum 3D forging process is used to form the unitary members. This may allow the fabrication of components with substantially hollow interior areas to reduce weight, reduce part count while maintaining high strength and ductility. The multistage 3D forging process provided also allows the combination of multiple components into a single unitary part.

    摘要: A straight tubular ferrous blank of a circular section, starting material of the invention is deformed in its section along its whole length and bent to form a fork with two legs or blades, the thus formed tubular fork is set in a sectional forming die of top and bottom molds; the die has a concave corresponding to a protuberant socket and has also at its end an opening into which a mandrel having a recess corresponding to the same protuberant socket is introduced; the tubular fork set in the sectional die is subjected to the oil hydraulic bulge-forming process together with the mandrel simultaneously forced into the opening to bulge-form the socket, and the desired front fork blank of the single unit type is obtained.

    摘要: A method of forming a claw portion of the front wheel journal fork of a bicycle, including the steps of axially squeezing a metal pipe, having one end of reduced section, between a pair of chuck electrodes, the electrode seating said reduced section end of the pipe having a die cavity of a desired shape for an intermediate form of the claw portion, while simultaneously applying an electric potential to said electrodes, whereby to soften and form said reduced section end of the pipe to a shape conforming to that of the die cavity, pressing said shaped end of the pipe to flatten said end, shearing said flattened end to a desired claw contour, and punching a hole and a slot in said flat and contoured claw portion.
