摘要: A machine to receive and store only specific used food containers is provided. The machine includes a housing with an interior volume and an outer shell, the housing comprises an inlet opening. A rotatable plate is positioned within the housing and aligned with the inlet opening such that items passed through the inlet opening are received upon the plate, the plate further comprises a shroud along a majority of a circumference of the plate and a void that exists where the shroud does not extend, wherein an item can be positioned upon the plate when the void of the shroud is aligned with the inlet opening and items are prevented from being positioned upon the plate when the void of the shroud is aligned with the inlet opening. A sensor is disposed upon the housing to monitor the inlet opening and identify when an object is placed upon the plate.

摘要: This invention relates to a container wall thickness inspection device 1 for inspecting a container 10A in which regions with a relatively greater wall thickness (flat portion Rf) and regions with a relatively smaller wall thickness (corner portion Rc) are distributed in the circumferential direction, the container wall thickness inspection device 1 comprising: a wall thickness measurement device (electrostatic capacity detector 4) with a sensor unit 5 for measuring a wall thickness of a site facing the sensor unit 5 on the outer peripheral surface of the container 10A; a rotary drive mechanism for axially rotating the container 10A around the central axis of the container in order to measure a wall thickness of the container over the entire circumference by the wall thickness measurement device; a region detection device (photoelectric sensor 8) for detecting which region of the container 10A corresponds to the site being measured for its wall thickness by the wall thickness measurement device; and a determination device for making a pass/fail determination with respect to the wall thickness of the container 10A based on measured wall thickness values over the entire circumference of the container 10a, which are obtained from outputs of the wall thickness measurement device. The determination device comprises a storage unit for storing a pass/fail determination standard value with respect to the wall thickness for each region, and a comparison unit for comparing each measured wall thickness value obtained from the outputs of the wall thickness measurement device with a pass/fail determination standard value stored in the storage unit corresponding to the region detected by the region detection device.

摘要: A nuclear reactor is provided with a core which includes a new fuel part and a burning part at which neutrons are generated and fuel is burned. The burning part moves in a direction toward the new fuel part from the beginning to the end of the combustion cycle. The plurality of the fuel assemblies of the core include the fuel assemblies which are fastened to the core and the fuel assemblies which can move in the longitudinal direction of the fuel assemblies. By pulling out the fuel assemblies from the core, the nuclear reactor can be made to stop. Further, by inserting fuel assemblies into the core from the pulled out state, the nuclear reactor is started up.

摘要: A foil lid inspection system for detecting and separating defective foil lids on a container in a production line includes one or more light sources, an inspection camera, and inspection software. The light sources are positioned to direct light in an upward direction to illuminate the container. The inspection camera is positioned above the foil lid, and the camera includes one or more outputs. The inspection software is in communication with the inspection camera. The inspection software is constructed and arranged to determine if the foil lid on the container is defective. A reject signal is applied to an output if the software determines that the foil lid is defective.

摘要: Manufacturing lines include inspection systems for monitoring the quality of parts produced. Manufacturing lines for making semiconductor devices generally inspect each fabricated part. The information obtained is used to fix manufacturing problems in the semiconductor fab plant. A machine-vision system for inspecting devices includes a flipper mechanism. After being inspected at a first station, a tray-transfer device moves the tray from the first inspection station to a flipper mechanism. The flipper mechanism includes two jaws, a mover, and a rotator. The flipper mechanism turns the devices over and places the devices in a second tray so that another surface of the device can be inspected. A second tray-transfer device moves the second tray from the flipper to a second inspection station. The mover of the flipper mechanism removes the tray from the first inspection surface and places a tray at the second inspection surface.
