摘要: According to one or more embodiments, a plate grid distributor for distributing a fluid in a vessel may include a plate and an internal support system. The internal support system may include a plurality of pillar supports extending vertically from at or near a bottom surface of the plate towards a floor of the vessel. One or more of the pillar supports may include a flexible upper member connecting a rigid top support bracket to a rigid intermediate beam and a flexible lower member connecting the rigid intermediate beam to the rigid base support. According to one or more other embodiments, a method of distributing a fluid through a plate grid distributor in a vessel may include passing the fluid into the vessel below the plate grid distributor and directing the fluid through the plate gird distributor.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for producing one or more powders each formed of two or more materials. The system includes a housing having an enclosure, a crucible configured to produce a melt of a first material, a droplet device configured to receive the melt of the first material and produce a flow of droplets thereof within the enclosure, a distribution device configured to propel a second material into the droplets to mix therewith, wherein the droplets solidify to form particles of the first material, the second material, and/or a reaction product thereof, a platform within the enclosure configured to intercept the particles, and one or more generators configured to produce electromagnetic waves and/or acoustic waves to form a fluidized bed of the particles on the platform. The platform and/or the one or more generators are configured to produce, from the fluidized bed, a powder including the particles.

An inlet line and an outlet line is coupled to the top and is in fluid communication with the canister volume. A plate disposed within the canister volume forms a headspace volume below the plate. Each of the inlet line and the outlet line is in fluid communication with the headspace volume. The apparatus includes standoffs extending from a lower surface of the plate. The standoffs include a lower surface area substantially parallel with the plate.

摘要: A reactor may have a catalyst bed for the catalytic treatment of a gas stream, with the catalyst bed extending substantially over a cross section of the reactor. Gas to be treated may axially fly through the catalyst bed. A carrier structure for the catalyst bed that is at least partly floatingly mounted in the reactor may include a sieve element and, radially outwardly, carrier elements fixedly joined to the reactor wall below the sieve element. The sieve element provides a resting surface for the catalyst bed. The sieve element terminates, radially outwardly, at a distance from the reactor wall. The carrier structure also includes support elements for the sieve element that are floatingly mounted in the reactor. An improved floating mounting is thus provided where not only the sieve element itself but also further parts of the carrier structure are mounted to prevent stresses due to thermal expansion.

摘要: A membrane reactor includes a catalyst layer, a separation membrane, and a buffer layer. The catalyst layer contains a catalyst for promoting a conversion reaction from a feed gas containing hydrogen and carbon oxide to a liquid fuel. The separation membrane is permeable to water vapor which is a byproduct of the conversion reaction. The buffer layer is disposed between the separation membrane and the catalyst layer, and permeable to the water vapor toward the separation membrane.

摘要: A fuel cell system and method, the system including a hotbox, a fuel cell stack disposed in the hotbox, an anode tail gas oxidizer (ATO) disposed in the hotbox, and a fuel exhaust processor fluidly connected to the hotbox. The fuel exhaust processor includes a first hydrogen pump configured to extract hydrogen from the anode exhaust received from the fuel cell stack and to output the hydrogen to a first hydrogen stream provided to the fuel cell stack, a second hydrogen pump configured to extract hydrogen from anode exhaust output from the first hydrogen pump and to output the hydrogen to the first hydrogen stream, and a third hydrogen pump configured to extract hydrogen from anode exhaust output from the second hydrogen pump and to output the hydrogen to a second hydrogen stream provided to the ATO.
