The absorbent member has a layer-stacked structure of a plurality of layers, stacked in the thickness direction. The Klemm water absorption height of a lower layer most proximal to the backsheet is higher than that of an upper layer most proximal to the topsheet. The backsheet contains a moisture permeable film including a plurality of microvoids, and having water repellent portions formed by water repellent finishing, on a portion in the target region (P) of a skin-facing surface of the moisture permeable film. A ratio of the total area of portions on which the water repellent finishing is performed to the area of the target region (P) is from 30% to 60%.

    摘要： A disposable absorbent articles having breathable side panels. The disposable absorbent article preferably comprises a containment assembly including a topsheet, a backsheet and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent core has a pair of opposing longitudinal edges, an inner surface and an outer surface. The backsheet has a garment-facing surface, a body-facing surface, a central region and an outer region. The backsheet preferably further includes at least three distinct zones, a pair of apertured zones comprising apertures and a non-apertured zone. The apertured zones preferably include at least a portion of the outer region of the backsheet and extend laterally outwardly form each of the longitudinal edges. The non-apertured zone preferably comprises the central region and is juxtaposed the outer surface of the absorbent core. The disposable absorbent article preferably further comprises a liquid and air pervious outer cover joined with the garment-facing surface of the backsheet to form a breathable laminate in the apertured zones. In preferred embodiments, a side panel extends laterally outwardly from each of the longitudinal edges of the absorbent core, each of the side panels comprising at least a portion of the laminate such that the side panels are breathable.

An end portion of the rear waist region is provided with an elastic member associated with a waist-opening. The diaper has transversely opposite side edges and upper and lower edges. A plurality of slits extend through the diaper in its thickness direction and in a longitudinal direction so as to be spaced one from another by a predetermined dimension in a waist-surrounding direction between the side edges. The slits are also spaced one from another by a predetermined dimension in the longitudinal direction between a vicinity of the upper edge and a vicinity of the lower edge.
