Abstract:
A machine for dispensing an individual portion of a frozen dessert may include a cartridge cart having walls forming a cavity having a longitudinal central axis and configured to accommodate a cartridge. The cartridge may include a tube having first and second ends, a nozzle disposed at the first end, and a piston disposed between the nozzle and the second end and configured to slidably move along the tube. The individual portion of the frozen dessert may be contained within the tube between the nozzle and the piston. The machine may also include a plunger, a drive source operably coupled to the plunger and configured to drive the plunger along the central axis, and a support configured to support the first end of the cartridge such that actuating the drive source causes the individual portion of frozen dessert to dispense through the nozzle.
Abstract:
A process for producing a food product comprises the following process steps: a) introducing ice cream into a cup, so that the ice cream occupies a lower region of the cup, b) introducing a specified quantity of liquid coolant into a metering container, c) after completion of process steps a) and b), introducing the coolant from the metering container into the cup, so that the coolant cools a top side of the ice cream in the cup, and d) after completion of process step c), introducing an at least partially melted garnishing substance into the cup, so that a solid garnishing layer composed of the garnishing substance is formed on the top side of the ice cream as a result of hardening of the garnishing substance.
Abstract:
An improved interactive frozen confectionery vending machine with two alternate freezer enclosures storing a variety of ice creams in cups is presented. The vending machine further comprises a toppings dispensing and a control system enclosures. A programmable control system enables a customer to select one ice cream cup at a time of a flavor of his or her choide and customize the selected ice cream with a choice of automatically dispensed hard or soft toppings via a gear motor operated arm and flexible liquid topping delivery tubes. A Wi-Fi enabled payment system and an ice cream and topping selection are implemented via a touch screen. The vending machine interior is accessible by pre-authorized personnel only.
Abstract:
An ice-cream vending machine with an insulated and refrigerated bottom half housing containing stacks of pre-portioned ice-cream supported by a plurality of circular platforms and a top half housing containing radially deposed topping storage bins, a topping retrieval mechanism, a centrally located stacked cup storage tube and a centrally located cup holding platform. The topping retrieval mechanism with a topping receiving cup is attached to a horizontally disposed telescoping arm The telescoping arm engages a radially disposed drive mechanism that allows the topping receiving cup to access a selected bin and deliver the topping to a portion of ice-cream. The ice-cream portions are retrieved one at a time from the refrigerated bottom half housing and delivered via an ice-cream delivery mechanism to a centrally located ice-cream cup.
Abstract:
Systems and methods of producing a frozen food product include mixing ingredients with a liquefied gas, e.g. liquid nitrogen. The texture and quality of the food product may be determined by sensing temperature or viscosity, and controlling the rate at which the liquefied gas flows into the mixture, i.e. dosing. This functionality may be achieved using one or more scoops, the position of which may be controlled by actuators. The dosing may be controlled by a program that receives input from one or more sensors, and the program may be responsive to input of the type or amount of ingredients being mixed. In addition, the dosing may be controlled by a human being through a user interface, e.g. by pushing a ‘dose’ button.
Abstract:
An automatic frozen food product vending machine includes a frozen food product dispensing station for dispensing at least one frozen food product, a container dispenser for storing multiple frozen food product containers and configured to automatically dispense one frozen food product container at a time, a first movable platform for supporting a dispensed frozen food product container, a topping dispensing station for dispensing at least one topping, a second movable platform for supporting the dispensed frozen food product container, a user input device configured to receive a user selection of a desired frozen food product, a user selection of a desired amount of frozen food product, and a user selection of a desired topping, and processing electronics configured to automate operation of the vending machine after the user selections are made.
Abstract:
An apparatus for loading material into a stent strut can comprise a cover sleeve. The cover sleeve is elastic so that it can reduce in diameter so as to press against the stent strut, and expand in diameter so as to be spaced apart from the stent strut. The stent strut can include a lumen into which material is injected. When pressed against the stent strut, the cover sleeve seals side openings to the lumen and prevents injected material from leaking out of the side openings during the injection process.
Abstract:
DISPOSITION INTRODUCED IN AUTOMATED EQUIPMENT FOR THE PRODUCTION OF ICE CREAM, belonging to the field of foodstuff equipment is idealized as an automatic equipment for production of “soft” ice cream (1), which is formed from a casing (2) with a vertical rectangular prismatic geometry and has a single ice cream output, in which there is a shape swivel (19), which changes the shape of the ice cream output, that can extract two flavors of ice cream, separately or mixed, and add flavored syrup to the ice cream.
Abstract:
This invention concerns a surface patterned frozen dessert having a streamlined pattern of multiple colors of sauce material on the top surface of an ice cream layer, such that no bleeding of the sauce material colors into the ice cream layer is apparent from the outside in normal ice cream storage conditions and the ice cream material is not exposed to the outside to become unsightly, as well as a manufacturing method and apparatus for same. The surface patterned frozen dessert has, within a cup, an ice cream layer, a first sauce material layer on said ice cream layer, and a second sauce layer of a different color from the first sauce layer, partially injected on the top surface of the first sauce layer after the first sauce material, whereby the first sauce layer and second sauce layer are stirred together to form an inscribed pattern.
