摘要: A grow system. The system includes growing plants in grow modules that are individually moveable. The plants grow in trays where roots never touch the water supply. The plumbing to the grow modules is a low flow, one way flow continual drip system that is hands free. A mobile robot can navigate around a growspace, bring any grow module from one location to another, and perform growspace operations. The growspace is a control space with data source zones and a control space manager. The control space manager can collect data and control different variables across different data source zones in order to determine optimal policies and conditions for data source growth and generation.

摘要: An integrated sensor assembly includes a housing having a rectangular shape, a front side having a length and width and including a plurality of openings, and a thickness significantly less than the length or the width of the front side. The assembly includes an infrared thermal sensor disposed in the housing and aligned with a first opening of the plurality of openings, a time-of-flight proximity sensor disposed in the housing and aligned with a second opening of the plurality of openings, and a color light sensor, disposed in the housing and aligned with the second opening of the plurality of openings, to respectively sense at least red light, green light, and blue light. The integrated sensor assembly does not include a narrowband irradiator to facilitate multispectral imaging of reflected or emitted radiation from at least one object in response to irradiation by the narrowband irradiator.

摘要: Provided herein are water and carbon dioxide harvesting systems, as well as methods using such systems, for capturing water and carbon dioxide from surrounding air. The systems and methods use water capture materials to adsorb water from the air and carbon dioxide capture materials to adsorb carbon dioxide from the air. For example, the water and carbon dioxide capture materials may be metal-organic-frameworks. The systems and methods desorb the water in the form of water vapor and the carbon dioxide. The water vapor is then condensed into liquid water. The water and carbon dioxide generated can be used in farming systems, including hydroponics and vertical farming systems.

摘要: In some embodiments, the present disclosure pertains to methods and systems for optimizing a property of a plant. In some embodiments, the methods of the present disclosure include: (1) receiving one or more growth-related parameters of the plant; (2) receiving one or more phenotype-related parameters of the plant; (3) receiving one or more qualitative parameters of the plant; (4) utilizing a computing unit to evaluate said one or more growth-related parameters, phenotype-related parameters and qualitative parameters of the plant; and (5) utilizing the computing unit to adjust the one or more of the growth-related parameters of the plant based on the evaluation. In some embodiments, the aforementioned steps are repeated a plurality of times. In some embodiments, the parameters are stored in a database and utilized by a machine-learning algorithm to optimize the evaluation of the parameters and adjustment of the growth-related parameters.

摘要: A controlled and closed agricultural system includes a growing space and an air handling system having a heat exchanger and cooling coil. The heat exchanger is capable of transferring sensible and latent heat and is in fluid connection with a recirculating air duct and an outside air duct. The recirculating air duct is in fluid connection with the growing space and one or more recirculation fans, while the outside air duct is in fluid connection with one or more outside air fans positioned to cause outside air to flow countercurrent to recirculating air through the heat exchanger. A cooling coil is positioned within the recirculating air duct, downstream of and in series with the heat exchanger. The cooling coil circulates a heat transfer fluid to remove additional heat from the recirculating air.

摘要: A combined power conversion and carbon capture and recycling subsystem including a fossil fueled oxidation unit, a physical adsorbent CO2 capture medium, rotor, motor, heater, CO2 compressor, diffuser and water storage tank. Exhaust gas from fossil fuel oxidation is scrubbed of CO2 via passage across a physical adsorbent and then released from the adsorbent via fuel oxidation waste heat. High CO2 concentration scrubber exhaust air is then compressed and fed to a diffuser which facilitates dissociation of the CO2 into water where it is temporarily stored for use in watering plants. Carbon from fossil fuel is recycled back into the environment and permanently stored as biomass by natural means of photosynthesis.

Water to be purified is guided to an inlet (12) at an uppermost layer. The bioreactor is in low energy consumption, less occupied area, no pollution and clean production.
