    Abstract: A slope mower includes a frame; a prime mover, typically an IC engine; opposed ground supports, typically tracks, supporting opposed lateral side portions of the frame on the ground; and a cutter deck. The cutter deck has four rotating cutting blade assemblies. The cutting blade assemblies are arranged in a non-rectangular quadrilateral pattern when viewed in bottom plan, permitting at least essentially equal operation when mowing in either the forward or reverse direction. The rotational axes of the front and rear cutting blade assemblies may lie on a line that is offset from a longitudinal centerline of the cutting deck. The cutting blades may be powered by dedicated electric motors. The prime mover and electric motors may be mounted on the cutter deck.

    Abstract: A mower combination including an agricultural vehicle and a number of mowing units suitable for cutting standing crop, including a front mowing unit and two lateral mowing units located behind and to the sides of the front mowing unit. Each of the lateral mowing units includes a conveyor to deposit cut crop as a swath. Sensors determine the slope and lateral displacement of each conveyor. A control unit receives inputs from the sensors and compares the inputs to a predetermined set of values of slope and, as indicated by the comparison, adjusts the lateral displacement of at least one conveyor.

    Abstract: A utility vehicle with adjustable wheel assemblies to accommodate different weight attachments selectively engageable with the vehicle. Adjustment assemblies are provided to engage each of the front wheel assemblies. Each adjustment assembly includes a guide plate, a first arm of a first length and a second arm of a second length. The operator will select the appropriate one of the first and second arms to secure to the guide plate and to one of the front wheel assemblies. The guide plates include holes therein for locking the selected one of the arms in a particular orientation. This is accomplished by inserting a pin through an aperture in the selected first or second arm and one of the holes in the guide plate. A first end of the selected first or second arm is secured to the guide plate and a second end thereof is engaged with the associated wheel assembly.

The work head has a horizontal rotating element operatively connected to a power source and carrying at both its opposite ends a pivotally-secured cutting blade. The work head is formed with a semi-circular front upper edge and two laterally-spaced forwardly-extending projections, the latter defining, along with the sides of the front upper edge, a V-shape indent.     Abstract: Apparatus for attachment to and propulsion by a vehicle for the purpose of cutting vegetation, particularly shrubs and small trees. A plurality of generally planar, circular-toothed cutting members are supported on the underside of a housing and with each cutting member positioned in a generally horizontal plane with its forward edge extending forwardly of the housing. The cutting members are so arranged that their toothed cutting edges which extend forwardly of the housing jointly form an unbroken cutting line. The cutters are rotated in such a manner that those cutters which are disposed to the left side of a center line of the apparatus are rotated in a counterclockwise direction while those which lie to the right of the center line are rotated in a clockwise direction, thereby facilitating the conveying of the cut vegetation to either side of the apparatus and away from its center portion.
