    摘要： A woven fabric in which warp elements are provided out of metal. The fabric further comprising at least a first set of substantially parallel binding elements present in warp direction of the fabric. This first set of binding elements bind the warp elements to the weft elements by means of a leno weave at at least a part of the intersection points of warp and weft elements. The fabric as subject of the invention is characterized in that each binding element of the first set of binding elements crosses more than one warp element between consecutive intersection points bound by this binding element.

    摘要： An architectural fabric is claimed where the tension members are strips. These strips comprise a tension member and a polymer matrix. The matrix is preferably of the thermoplastic type and is preferably chemically attached to the polymer used for the membrane. However, mechanical fastening of the strip to the membrane or a combination of chemical and mechanical fastening is not excluded. The advantages are that such a strip is better weather resistant, offers better strength to weight ratios and gives a larger contact surface to the membrane.

The long axis has a length, and the short axis has a center thickness which is smaller than half of the length. Along the long axis, the cross section has a left end with a left thickness and a right end with a right thickness. Both the left thickness and the right thickness are substantially greater than the center thickness. Such a wire reinforcement is very rigid in the direction of the long axis and is flexible in the other directions and in relation to torsional stresses.
