    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a shoulder prosthesis. The shoulder prosthesis includes a glenoid component, a humeral component, and an articulation component. The glenoid component includes a glenoid body having a proximal side and a distal side, the proximal side shaped to engage with a resected portion of a glenoid cavity. The humeral component includes a humeral body having a proximal side and a distal side, the distal side shaped to engage with a resected portion of a humerus. The articulation component is positionable between the distal side of the glenoid component and the proximal side of the humeral component, the articulation component configured to be maintained between the glenoid and humeral components, after implantation, by at least one of a deltoid muscle and a rotator cuff.

The humeral head can also include a polar axis extending parallel to the planar exterior surface from an outer edge of the humeral head intersecting the main body axis and an equatorial axis extending parallel to the planar exterior surface from the outer edge of the humeral head intersecting the main body axis and the polar axis. The shoulder replacement system can also include a humeral stem insertable into a humerus and a glenoid implant that can be engaged to bone defining a glenoid cavity and defining an articulating surface.

    Abstract: An instrument can comprise an instrument body, a cross-pin, and a ring. The instrument body can be configured to be partially inserted into an intramedullary canal of a bone having a bone resection.
