Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for prolonging the transmission distance of a passive optical network system and an optical line terminal. The method includes: acquiring each EDC tap coefficient corresponding to each ONU; and according to the each EDC tap coefficient corresponding to the each ONU, performing dispersion compensation respectively on an uplink signal sent from the each ONU. Thus the dispersion suffered by ONUs at different transmission distances can be pertinently compensated, so that the transmission distance of the system can be effectively prolonged.
Abstract:

The method includes determining a first quiet window and a second quiet window, and allocating the first quiet window to an ONU within a first preset distance range and allocating the second quiet window to an ONU within a second preset distance range, where the distance between the optical line terminal (OLT) and the ONU within the first preset distance range is less than the distance between the OLT and the ONU within the second preset distance range.
Abstract:
A method for managing a multi-wavelength passive optical network, comprising: an optical module extracting a module management signal from a reception signal input from an optical signal interface, where the module management signal carries a management message related to the optical module. The solution can solve the problem that an optical module of a multi-wavelength passive optical network in the related art cannot support the smooth upgrade of a related device to the multi-wavelength passive optical network.
Abstract:
A channel adjustment method, apparatus and system. The method includes: an optical line terminal (OLT) receives a channel bonding capability parameter reported by an optical network unit (ONU) and supported by the ONU; the OLT determines a channel bonding capability parameter of a to-be-bonded channel of the ONU according to the channel bonding capability parameter, a serving application of the ONU and/or a data transmission state; and the OLT sends, to the ONU, first bonding control information carrying the channel bonding capability parameter of the to-be-bonded channel of the ONU and used for instructing the ONU to adjust the bonded channel.
Abstract:
Working Channel (CH) tuning methods, devices and system, an Optical Network Unit (ONU) and an Optical Line Terminal (OLT) are provided. In a working CH tuning method, at least one of the following information is provided for an OLT: a working CH corresponding to minimum power consumption or power consumption information corresponding to an ONU in different CHs. A tuning message which indicates an optimal working CH and is provided by the OLT according to the provided information is received from the OLT. A working CH is tuned to the optimal working CH indicated by the tuning message.
Abstract:
