    摘要: An overhead-valve internal combustion engine with a breather chamber arranged below a camshaft housing chamber for housing the camshaft and formed between a cylinder head and a cylinder block. A driving force transmission chamber is formed between a cylinder and a crankcase. Thus, the discharge of oil from the breather chamber is performed smoothly so as to enhance the vapor-liquid separation performance. A breather inlet passage has an upper end thereof in communication with an inside of a camshaft housing chamber and a lower end thereof in communication with a breather chamber at a position corresponding to a mating face between a cylinder block and a crankcase is formed in the cylinder block such that the breather inlet passage extends vertically. An oil discharge hole is in communication with a lower portion of the inside of the breather chamber and is formed in the crankcase.

An automatic transmission is provided with gear trains equal in number to the number of speed ratios between a primary shaft and a counter shaft. A first hydraulic clutch and second hydraulic clutch interrupt and connect the transmission of rotation between a crankshaft and the transmission. A changeover valve is provided to connect the pressure of a working fluid to any one of the first and second clutches. A pair of orifice control valves are disposed between the changeover valve and the first clutch and between the changeover valve and the second clutch, respectively. A pair of accumulators are disposed between the changeover valve and the first clutch and between the changeover valve and the second clutch, respectively.

    摘要: A structure is provided for receiving and delivering oil from a first oil path in a wall of a casing to a second oil path within a rotating shaft supported by the casing on an inner side surface of the casing. A recess is formed in which the first oil path is opened. A collar is positioned on an inner peripheral surface of the recess. The collar is fitted in a floating state through an O-ring. On the inner peripheral surface of the collar an end portion of the rotating shaft is pivotally fitted to open the second oil path within the recess.

The engine case is formed with a clutch actuator containing part in which a clutch actuator for engaging/disengaging the shift clutch is contained. The clutch actuator containing part has a clutch actuator mounting/dismounting port through which to mount and dismount the clutch actuator.     摘要: A power unit for a vehicle includes first and second clutches, that transmit/interrupt rotary power from a primary reduction gear mechanism to first and second main shafts, arranged at respective ends of the first and second main shafts with selectively established multispeed gears provided among a countershaft, and the first and second main shafts. The primary reduction gear mechanism includes: a single driving gear provided on a crankshaft; a first driven gear supported by a first main shaft for relative rotation therewith at a position adjacent to the first clutch and meshes with the driving gear; an intermediate driving gear rotating with the first driven gear; an idle gear that meshes with the intermediate driving gear, and supported by the countershaft for relative rotation therewith; and a second driven gear, that meshes with the idle gear, and supported by the second main shaft for relative rotation therewith.

    摘要: A transmission assembly includes a shift drum operable to rotate in first and second directions. The shift drum includes a common speed change position, where both a fastest forward gear and a reverse gear are capable of becoming engaged, in such a manner that a reverse stopper arm fits at a first end of a reverse cam groove formed on the shift drum. When the shift drum is rotated in the second rotation direction, opposite to the first direction, from a state where the reverse gear is engaged, the reverse stopper arm surmounts the outer periphery of the shift drum from the first end of the reverse cam groove, without requiring the application of an external force thereto, so as to become detached and to move towards a second end of the reverse cam groove.

    摘要: A vehicular transmission for an internal combustion engine includes lead grooves disposed on an outer periphery of a shift drum having communication portions connecting a pair of gear train establishment portions extending circumferentially along the shift drum. The communication portions include half neutral portions formed at a center thereof, extending circumferentially along the shift drum. The resulting configuration suppresses an engagement noise to a minimum during changing of a gear position through a sliding motion of a shifter.
