摘要： A liquid crystal display panel (LCD) panel is provided. The LCD panel includes a plurality of pixels. Each pixel includes a pixel electrode layer and a plurality of liquid crystal domain arranging layers. The pixel electrode layer has a plurality of slits. The liquid crystal domain arranging layers are disposed near the pixel electrode layer. Each pixel is divided into a plurality of essentially closed liquid crystal domain fields by the arranging layers and the slits. Each liquid crystal domain field is formed by encircling at least one arranging layer and at least one slit.

摘要： An LCD panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate, pixel units, a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate opposite to each other, and an opposite electrode. Each pixel unit has a first auxiliary electrode, a dielectric layer covering the first auxiliary electrode, and a pixel electrode on the dielectric layer. The first auxiliary electrode includes a transparent conductive pattern on the first substrate and a metal conductive pattern on the transparent conductive pattern. An edge of the pixel electrode and the transparent conductive pattern are partially overlapped. The opposite electrode is disposed between the second substrate and the liquid crystal layer. Liquid crystal molecules of the liquid crystal layer tilt away from the edge of the pixel electrode when a common voltage is applied to the first auxiliary electrode and the opposite electrode, and a display voltage is applied to the pixel electrode.

The liquid crystal molecules form several domains via the lateral inclined surfaces of the stack layers.

摘要： A liquid crystal display (LCD) including an LCD panel and a back light module is provided. The back light module is disposed below the LCD panel. The back light module includes a planar light source, a reflective polarized light enhancement film, a first prism film and a λ/4 phase retardation film. The planar light source is disposed below the LCD panel, while the reflective polarized light enhancement film is disposed between the LCD panel and the planar light source. The first prism film is disposed between the reflective polarized light enhancement film and the planar light source. Besides, the λ/4 phase retardation film is disposed between the reflective polarized light enhancement film and the first prism film. The back light module has a relatively high light utilization rate, and the LCD has favorable display luminance.

摘要： An optically compensated bend (OCB) liquid crystal display (LCD) panel is provided. The OCB LCD panel includes an active device array substrate, an opposite substrate, an OCB liquid crystal layer and a first patterned dielectric layer. The opposite substrate is disposed opposite to the active device array substrate, while the OCB liquid crystal layer is disposed between the active device array substrate and the opposite substrate. Besides, the first patterned dielectric layer is disposed on the active device array substrate. It is noted that the first patterned insulator has at least a first concave and at least a first transition surface corresponding thereto, such that an arrangement of the liquid crystal molecules of the OCB liquid crystal layer above the first transition surface is a hybrid state. In the above-mentioned OCB LCD panel, the OCB liquid crystal layer can be transited from a splay state to a bend state rapidly.
