Abstract:
A propeller is made up of a propelling unit having a plurality of blades, a driving unit for driving the propelling unit, and a plurality of deformable transmission units located between the propelling unit and the driving unit such that the transmission units are retained in the retaining slots of the propelling unit and the driving unit. The transmission units are tubular in shape and capable of deforming to absorb an impact force exerting on the transmission units in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the transmission units, so as to safeguard the structural integrity of the propeller at such time when the propeller in motion is impacted on by a foreign object.
Abstract:
An electric outboard drive adapted to be mounted on a transom of a boat through a mounting bracket includes a driving device and a propelling device. Through engagement of a first transmission shaft with a second transmission shaft, the power of an electric motor of the driving device is transmitted to a propeller of the propelling device. As a result, when the electric motor drives the first transmission shaft to rotate, the propeller is rotated by the transmission of the second transmission shaft to propel the boat.
Abstract:
A boat propelling system is mounted in a water channel of the boat hull and composed of an engine, a transmission shaft driven by the engine, an impeller driven by the transmission shaft and provided with blades, a stator mounted behind the impeller and provided with stator vanes, and a nozzle located behind the stator. The impeller blades and the stator vanes are separated by a gap adjustable by the magnitude of jet flow of water.
Abstract:
A propeller for a boat includes a hub having a tail portion with an outlet, and a plurality of blades equiangularly disposed on the hub. The outer periphery of the tail portion defines with a center axis of the hub a distance gradually decreasing toward the outlet. Thus, the propeller has the advantages of reducing the drag and increasing the propulsive force of the boat when it rotates.
Abstract:
A powerboat includes a hull, a driving mechanism, which is formed of an engine and a driveshaft and is mounted inside the hull around the connection area between the bottom and transom of the hull, a shield fastened to the transom outside the hull and defining a semicircular waterway, a guide wing affixed to the bottom side of the shield, and a propeller unit, which is installed in the rear side of the shield and affixed to the guide wing and which has a front propeller coupled to the driveshaft, a rear rudder, and a vane wheel set between the propeller and the rudder.
Abstract:
A propeller for a boat includes a propeller shaft having a shaft hole, a shaft sleeve mounted in the shaft hole of the propeller shaft and provided with a metal core with a through hole for insertion of a driving shaft of the boat, and a shock-absorbing member covering an outer surface of the metal and having an outer surface contacted with an inner surface of the propeller shaft that surrounds the shaft hole; and a lock unit mounted on the driving shaft for fixing the driving shaft in the through hole of the shaft sleeve, so that the propeller is rotatable by the driving shaft. When the propeller bumps hard things during rotation to result in vibration to the propeller, the shock-absorbing member can absorb the vibration so as to protect the driving shaft from damage.
Abstract:
The impeller includes a hollow shaft member screwing therein and thereto a hollow fixing shaft rotatably mounted in nozzle of a motorboat having a propeller shaft projecting into the nozzle to drive the fixing shaft, in which the shaft member has a truncated cone-shaped leading end having a cross-sectionally polygonal inner hole.
Abstract:
A propeller system for a boat includes a housing adapted to be mounted to a stern of the boat and having a receiving chamber inside and waterway at the bottom side thereof, a propeller rotatably disposed in the waterway of the housing, a driving device mounted in the receiving chamber of the housing and having a driving member and a linking member pivotally coupled to the driving member, and a guide ring connected to the linking member of the driving device and located in the waterway of the housing in such a way that the guide ring surrounds the blades of the propeller and is pivotable relative to the propeller. Thus, the propelling system has the advantage of increasing the utilization of the internal space of the boat.

Abstract:
A boat propeller comprises a hub formed of a front cylindrical member and a rear cylindrical member. The hub is provided in the joining place with a plurality of receiving cavities which are arranged equiangularly and circularly. Each cavity is provided removably with an angle setting member which is joined with the hub. A plurality of blades are joined with the outer periphery of the hub such that the inner ends of the blades are inserted into the cavities and are located by the angle setting members. Under the circumstance that the shapes of the hub and the blades remain unchanged, the blade pitch in relation to the hub can be changed by the angle setting members of various shapes.
