摘要: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for digital document management. A physical context can be identified, wherein such a physical context includes three dimensions of data. One or more digital documents can be automatically linked to the physical context, after identifying the physical context. Constraints can then be combined, which are derived from the three dimensions of data, allow particular actions with respect to the digital document(s). The three dimensions of data include, for example, data indicative of location, time, and a social component (e.g., people present at a location). Actions with respect to the digital document can include, for example: an allowed action, a restricted action, or a prohibited action (e.g., read/write).

摘要: A method and system for managing print jobs is disclosed. A received print job is compared with pending print jobs and executed print jobs, wherein the pending print jobs and the executed print jobs are stored in one or more print queues associated with one or more printing systems. Thereafter, one or more pending print jobs are suspended if the one or more pending print jobs are found similar to the received print job based on the comparison; or the received print job is suspended if the received print job is found similar to one or more of the executed print jobs, based on the comparison.

摘要: A computer-implemented method and system provide for externalizing data in process execution environments. The method includes extracting a data model from a domain specification. The data model includes a set of business objects, at least some of the business objects being linked to a domain-specific activity type by a business object relation. A database is generated from the data model which is accessible through an application program interface. Provision is made for a user to generate a domain-specific process model with links to business objects in the domain specification. The domain-specific process model is transformed to a domain-independent process model which has access to the database through the application program interface at runtime.

摘要: A method for extracting text from a page description language (“PDL”) document includes capturing a PDL file generated by a print driver for a printed document. The PDL file contains a set of drawing instructions for drawing a run of text formed from a series of glyphs. The PDL file is parsed to extract the drawing instructions of each glyph. The glyph drawing instructions are compared with a database of glyph characteristics. When a match is found between the drawing instructions and the database of glyph characteristics a corresponding text character associated with that set of characteristics is extracted. Where no match is found, the drawing instructions may be rendered as a bitmap and features extracted from the bitmap are compared with stored features to identify a glyph with similar features, or if there is none, an error may be recorded. A text summary may be generated.

摘要: Disclosed is a method and system of differential processing a print job including one or more original documents to render an obfuscated version of the print job. According to an exemplary method, the differential process replaces letters of an original document with randomly selected characters of substantially the same size and location as the original document and objects such as images/graphics are replaced with blurred versions of substantially the same size and locations as the objects in the original document. The differential process creates an obfuscated version of the print job which is illegible and useful for further processing where privacy of documents included in the print job is required.

摘要: Methods and systems determining customer satisfaction in a work environment via prescriptive analytics. Self-reported data related to the perception of an agent with respect to customer satisfaction in a work environment (e.g., a call center) can be collected via an interface (e.g., an agent dashboard) that allows the agent to enter the self-reported data regarding the customer satisfaction. The self-reported data can then be correlated with an actual customer satisfaction score associated with the agent to derive data indicative of an interaction between the agent and a customer(s). Feedback data can then be provided via the interface indicating a correctness of the self-reported data based on correlating the self-reported data with the actual customer satisfaction score.

摘要: This disclosure provides a method and system to promote the reduction of an environmental impact by one or more users of a printing system. According to an exemplary embodiment, a printing system includes a motivational platform and an operatively associated printer driver, the motivational platform recording the historical print activity of a plurality of users associated with a group and communicating the historical print activity to the print driver which is configured to provide an active user recommended selectable printer settings for a print job, prior to being submitted, which are based on best practices within the group.
