Abstract: A source drive including a bidirectional shift register and a plurality of data channels, each of which includes a data register and a DAC, and connected to the bidirectional shift register and a TFT, is provided, and so is an LCD device. The DAC is shared by two adjacent data channels, for reversing a polarity of a reference voltage according to a line reverse signal which is received from a timing controller, so as to determine the polarities of output voltages of the two adjacent data channels. The source drive has a small size and the cost thereof is low.

Abstract: A method for eliminating residual image in a liquid crystal display panel is provided. The method includes steps as follows. A reference common voltage output by a common voltage generation circuit is shifted to eliminate a residual image. The reference common voltage is maintained, a first reference voltage bound of a gamma correction unit of the liquid crystal display panel is adjusted, so that a residual image is eliminated. The adjustment of remaining grayscales is completed in sequence.

Abstract: A touch display device and an improvement method to a touch display device are disclosed. The improvement method first determines whether the touch display device turns on the touch mode. If yes, image data input to the touch display device is obtained and feature data is extracted from the image data. Then, adjustment or compensation factors are obtained according to the feature data. Grey level compensation sequence is also obtained. The duty cycle of the control signal for the touch display device is adjusted according to the factors and the grey level compensation sequence, so as to improve the display difference for a same grey level image due to the turning on of the touch mode.

Abstract: The present invention teaches a signal processing method and a signal processing device for simplifying TCON. The method includes the steps of: receiving a low voltage differential signaling (LVDS) signal and decoding the LVDS signal to obtain TCON signal width, period, and look-up table. The LVDS signal includes a clock signal and five data signals. TCON parameters are encoded in the empty differential pairs in the first bits of the last two data signals within continuous cycles. The TCON parameters include TCON signal width, period, and look-up table. By the present invention, TCON obtains TCON parameters from LVDS in a same sequence as they are stored in prior art's EEPROM. TCON resource is as such saved, and an external EEPROM may be omitted for lower production cost, under identical operation condition.

Abstract: A driving method for a liquid crystal panel is disclosed. Wherein, the driving method includes: (A) at a moment of switching from a normal display time stage to a touch scanning time stage in a current frame, applying a first over driving voltage to a common electrode of each pixel of a liquid crystal panel; and (B) at a moment of switching from the touch scanning time stage in the current frame to a normal display time stage of a next frame, applying a second over driving voltage to the common electrode of each pixel. According to the method described above a time that the common electrode reaches a present level voltage is shorten in order to effectively improve the poor display and touch problem caused by signal abnormality at moments of switching between a normal display and a touch scanning in an in-cell touch panel.
