Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a backlight module and the manufacturing method thereof. The backlight module comprises a substrate, a plastic frame, a light guide plate, and a film set. The plastic frame is formed on the substrate through printing, which forms a housing space together with the substrate. The light guide plate and the film set are sequentially stacked in the housing space. The backlight module according to the present disclosure will not affect the display of the liquid crystal display panel during thermal expansion.

The light emitting body is disposed in the light emitting portion; the transmission portion is connected with the light emitting portion and the light outputting portion; a light output port of the light outputting portion is disposed corresponding to a light guide plate, and a width of the light output port is not greater than a thickness of the light guide plate; a reflective material is provided in the light cavity, a portion of light emitted from the light emitting body directly enters light guide plate, and the other portion enters the light guide plate through reflecting by the reflective material one or more times. Accordingly, the light utilization rate is increased.

The shading layer corresponds to an incident surface of the diffuser. The shading layer comprises a middle portion and side portions separated from the middle portion, and a length of the middle portion is greater than lengths of the side portions. Two sides of the side portions are fixed to the diffuser and the rim tape layer, respectively. Only one side of the middle portion is fixed to the rim tape layer.

Abstract: A display panel is provided, and includes a first panel, a second panel, a liquid crystal layer, a backlight module and a quantum dot layer. The backlight module is configured to generate blue light. The quantum dot layer includes color block units. Red sub-color blocks and green sub-color blocks are disposed on first regions and second regions in the color block units, respectively. The red sub-color blocks and the green sub-color blocks respectively generate red light and green light under irradiation of the blue light. Third regions in the color block unit are used for the blue light to transmit therethrough. Therefore, the display quality of the display panel is improved.
