摘要: Embodiments pertaining to a medical construct are disclosed. The medical construct may include a set screw extending along a longitudinal axis between a proximal portion and a distal portion, for example. In various embodiments, the set screw may have an outside thread form and an interior socket, for example. In various embodiments, the socket may extend parallel to the longitudinal axis and have a circular lower surface, for example. In various embodiments, a first strain gauge, a second strain gauge, a third strain gauge, a fourth strain gauge, and a fifth strain gauge may be provided. In at least some embodiments, each of the first, second, third, and fourth strain gauges may be symmetrically disposed with respect to the lower surface, for example. Additionally, in at least some embodiments, the fifth strain gauge is disposed within a center portion of the lower surface, for example.

The system receives patient information pertaining to a patient, uses the patient information to access one or more medical images associated with the patient, performs one or more image processing techniques on the one or more medical images to identify measurements pertaining to an internal bodily structure of the patient, identifies one or more implant components for the patient, determines whether the one or more implant components are currently stocked, in response to determining that the one or more implant components are not currently stocked, automatically generates and placing an order for the one or more implant components that are not stocked, generates a pre-operative assessment for the patient, and causes the assessment to be displayed on a display device of a client electronic device.

摘要: Systems, instruments, and methods for surgical navigation with verification feedback are provided. The systems, instruments, and methods may be used to verify a trajectory of a surgical tool during a procedure. The systems, instruments, and methods may receive one or more captured images of an anatomical portion of a patient; execute a surgical plan to insert the surgical tool into the anatomical portion; receive sensor data collected from one or more sensors being inserted into the anatomical portion; determine whether the sensor data corresponds to the surgical plan; and send, in response to determining that the sensor data does not correspond to the surgical plan, an alert indicating that the surgical tool is not being inserted according to the surgical plan. The one or more sensors may be attached to the surgical tool.

摘要: A system for assessing a status of a spinal implant includes a reader device, a wearable body sensor, and a spinal implant. The wearable body sensor includes a first short-range receiver, a first short-range transmitter, and an inertial measurement unit. The wearable body sensor is configured to be positioned over a portion of a spine of a wearer, and measure movement information corresponding to spinal motion of the wearer while the wearer performs one or more movements while wearing the wearable body sensor. The spinal implant includes one or more sensors configured to measure implant information comprising one or more characteristics of a fusion status of the spinal implant, a second short-range receiver, and a second short-range transmitter. The wearable body sensor is configured to communicate movement information to the reader device. The spinal implant is configured to communicate implant information to the reader device via the second transmitter.

Each of the capacitive plates is in operable communication with the integrated circuit, and the capacitive assembly is configured to be received within the central opening of the set screw, such that the plurality of capacitive plates are positioned above the bottom bore portion.
