Abstract: A method, a network device, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium are described in relation to an EASDF secure service. The EASDF secure service may include a network-side service that may validate access and authorization to use a domain name system (DNS) resolver device, such as an edge application server discovery function. The network-side service may validate access and authorization of an end device based on tokens. The EASDF secure service may include an end device-side service that includes a token with a DNS query to the DNS resolver device. The end device-side service may further provide authorization regarding access and use of applications, networks, and application devices that host applications and/or assets by the end device at the end device. The end device-side service may determine access and/or authorization based on tokens and a validation procedure performed at the end device.

The service may include provisioning a packet data network (PDN) session based on network slice (NS) and access point name (APN) information received from an end device via a non-slice radio access device. The service may further include provisioning, during the PDU session, a network slice based on the NS and APN information in which core devices of the network slice are selected and the same as the core devices that supported the PSN session.

Abstract: Systems and methods described herein provide a network-based solution to efficiently transition private network subscribers from a macro network to a private network. A network device in the macro network stores a neighbor list identifying a private network that has overlapping coverage with a cell for the macro network. The network device detects that a user equipment (UE) device connected to the network device has a subscription to the private network and, in response to the detecting, sends, a release message to the UE device. The release message includes a redirection to the private network.

A network device of a wireless access network provides the service that includes identifying redundant configurations across carriers associated with a cell group, and links the common beam configurations to these carriers. The service may transmit this beam configuration information in a control plane message to an end device. The end device may use the beam configuration information.
