    摘要: The process produces a diesel from a biorenewable feedstock by hydrotreating to remove heteroatoms and saturate olefins. The biorenewable feedstock is contacted in a guard bed reactor in the presence of hydrogen to saturate olefins and remove metals to produce a contacted feed stream. The contacted feed stream is then heated in a charge heater to a higher temperature than in the guard bed reactor and hydrotreated in the presence of a hydrotreating hydrogen stream and a hydrotreating catalyst to deoxygenate the contacted feed stream to provide a hydrotreated stream.

Preserving heat in the hydrocracked stream avoids having to reheat the hydrocracked stream before product fractionation. Particularly, kerosene in the hydrocracked stream is not cooled with the hydroisomerized stream and then reheated in fractionation to distill the kerosene range hydrocarbons from the diesel range hydrocarbons.

The carbon monoxide is not fed to the downstream hydroisomerization reactor but supplanted with a hydrogen gas with a low concentration of carbon monoxide so as not to poison the hydroisomerization catalyst to improve the cold flow properties for a diesel fuel.
