    摘要: A thermal spray powder of the present invention includes particles composed of molybdenum disulfide, and a coating layer provided on the surface of each of the particles. The coating layer is composed of a metal that is softened or melted at a temperature lower than the heat decomposition temperature of the molybdenum disulfide. The coating layer is preferably composed of copper. The thermal spray powder suppresses heat decomposition of the molybdenum disulfide contained in the thermal spray powder during thermal spraying.

A value obtained by dividing the bulk density of the thermal spraying powder by the theoretical density of material forming the thermal spraying powder is preferably 0.15 or more. The particle size dispersion index of the thermal spraying powder is preferably 0.7 or less. A thermal spray coating that is dense and has a small surface roughness is reliably formed using the thermal spraying powder.

By setting the internal atmosphere in the connecting conduit to a negative pressure relative to the atmosphere near the intake end of the connecting conduit, the thermal spraying powder stored in the feeder is suctioned into the intake end of the connecting conduit. The thermal spraying powder suctioned into the intake end of the connecting conduit is carried to the discharge end of the connecting conduit, introduced inside a cylindrical air flow jetted from the nozzle provided in the thermal spraying machine or introduced into a combustion chamber provided in the thermal spraying machine or into the jet nozzle, softened or melted and jetted out.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a thermal spraying powder capable of reliably allowing the achievement of a thermal sprayed coating having superior characteristics. A thermal spraying powder according to a first embodiment of the invention includes a predetermined amount of each of molybdenum, boron, cobalt, and chromium. The total content of molybdenum, boron, cobalt, and chromium in the thermal spraying powder is no less than 95% by weight. The primary crystal phase of the thermal spraying powder is multi-element ceramics containing at least one of cobalt and chromium along with molybdenum and boron. A thermal spraying powder according to a second embodiment of the invention includes a predetermined amount of each of molybdenum, boron, nickel, and chromium. The total content of molybdenum, boron, nickel, and chromium in this thermal spraying powder is no less than 95% by weight. The primary crystal phase of this thermal spraying powder is multi-element ceramics containing at least one of nickel and chromium along with molybdenum and boron.
