Abstract:
A rotation angle sensor providing excellent output characteristics is provided. The rotation angle sensor has a structure in which a ring-shaped permanent magnet provided so as to be rotatable integrally with a rotor connected to a member to be detected; magnetic flux gathering yokes surrounding the outer circumferential surface of the ring-shaped permanent magnet with a certain clearance being formed between the outer circumferential surface and the magnetic flux gathering yokes; and Hall ICs 30 arranged in gaps between the magnetic flux gathering yokes, are arranged inside a casing formed by a casing body and a cover. In the casing body, a guide tube surrounding the outer circumferential surface of the ring-shaped permanent magnet is formed with a certain clearance being formed between the outer circumferential surface and the guide tube. The guide tube is made of a material having a linear expansion coefficient smaller than that of the casing, and the magnetic flux gathering yokes are fixed to the outer circumferential surface of the guide tube.
Abstract:
A method of producing a clothing article including the steps of (a) joining first continuous webs 120a and 120b having stretchability in the longitudinal direction thereof both in a longitudinally stretched state along an edge portion thereof to a longitudinally substantially inextensible second continuous web 120c to make a continuous composite sheet 120, (b) joining the composite sheet 120 obtained in step (a) on its side to a member 130 of the clothing article to make a web assembly 110, and (c) cutting the web assembly 110 obtained in step (b) to length.
Abstract:
A clutch for a transmission is provided in which a transmission case includes a first wall portion and a second wall portion that define a clutch housing chamber for housing a clutch outer, a clutch inner, a friction member, and an extension portion of a first gear shaft that extends from a shaft end portion of a second gear shaft, the clutch outer is supported on the first wall portion via a first bearing, and the clutch inner is supported on the through hole of the second wall portion, through which the first gear shaft extends, via a second bearing, and therefore, it is possible to enhance the coaxiality of the clutch outer and the clutch inner by supporting them on the transmission case independently from the first and second gear shafts, prevent the torque transmission capacity of the clutch from decreasing, and avoid the occurrence of judder.

Abstract:
A conductive composition capable of producing a conductive paint with excellent flexibility and a high conductivity comparable to that of metallic silver, without using high temperatures as film forming conditions. The conductive composition includes a particulate silver compound and a binder, and optionally a reducing agent and a binder. Silver oxide, silver carbonate and silver acetate and the like are used as the particulate silver compound. Ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, and ethylene glycol diacetate and the like are used as the reducing agent, and a fine powder of a thermosetting resin such as a polyvalent phenol compound, phenol resin, alkyd resin or polyester resin, or a thermoplastic resin such as a styrene resin or polyethylene terephthalate, with an average particle diameter from 20 nm to 5 μm is used as the binder. Furthermore, the average particle diameter of the particulate silver compound is preferably from 0.01 to 10 μm.
Abstract:
A low-noise separated core engine type turbofan engine is provided in which noise generated by a control propulsion device is reduced by using high pressure air as the working fluid of a turbine for driving a control fan used in the attitude control of the airframe. A control fan 17 of a separated core engine type turbofan engine 1, which is comprised in a control propulsion device 4 provided for attitude control of the aircraft, is driven by an air turbine 19 which uses as working fluid high pressure air compressed by a compressor 6 of the core engine 2 and supplied through a duct 10. The speed of the working fluid which is discharged from the control fan 17 and air turbine 19 is sufficiently low for attitude control and not as high as the speed of the working fluid which is discharged from a propulsion device 3 which is provided for thrust, and thus noise generated by the control propulsion device 4 can be reduced.
Abstract:
A method of fabricating a flat type electrochemical device, which is constructed by placing in a case comprising first and second case half bodies a separator and first and second functional substances for an electrochemical device so arranged as to interpose the separator. Peripheral portions of the first and second case half bodies are overlapped with each other, the peripheral portions are welded by a welding process during the application of pressure whereby the peripheral portions are joined with substantially no gaps. The portions welded by the welding process with pressure are then further welded using a laser beam welding.
Abstract:
A stacked electric double layer capacitor including a peripheral portion of an intermediate electrode plate held between peripheral portions of first and second case halves to be welded to each other, thereby defining first and second closed spaces for storing first and second capacitor elements, respectively. The first and second electrode plates are exposed by openings provided in the first and second case halves to form external terminal means, respectively. The two capacitor elements, stacked in series with each other are stored in the case, formed by joining the case halves to form a stacked electric double layer capacitor which can be reduced in thickness with substantially no leakage of electrolyte.
