摘要: A portable communication device includes a body (11) having a container (111) and a buffer room (115), and a plurality of fragrance releasing apparatuses (12) housed in the container. The body houses main circuitry therein. The buffer room communicates with the container and outside environment. The container also houses a plurality of electrical connectors therein. The electrical connectors are electrically connected with the main circuitry. Each fragrance releasing apparatus includes a vessel (121) with a nozzle (127). Each nozzle includes a heater (128) connecting with and being enabled by the main circuitry via the corresponding electrical connector. When the portable communication device receives an incoming call (or message), predetermined heaters are enabled by the main circuitry to release a fragrance corresponding to the caller (or sender).

摘要: A fiber display device (200) includes a light source (21), a fiber binding (27) for transmitting light beams from the light source and a brightness modulating system (29) for modulating the transmission of the light beams. The fiber binding includes a plurality of fibers (272), one terminal end of the fibers acting as a light incidence terminal for receiving light beams from the light source, the other terminal end of the fibers acting as a display terminal. The brightness modulating system is disposed between the light incidence terminal and the display terminal. This simplifies the structure and reduces the cost of the fiber display device.

摘要: A portable electronic device (10) includes a main body (20), and a pluggable module (30) rotatably attached to the main body. The main body includes a display screen (271) embedded in a front (27) thereof, and two symmetrical grooves (281) defined in opposite sides thereof. Two sockets (283) are defined in side walls of the main body that bound the grooves. Each socket includes an electrical connector electrically connecting with an inner circuit of the main body. The pluggable module includes a frame (31), a camera module (33), a headset module (32), and two tenons (3151, 3171) formed on an inside of the frame. The tenons engage in the sockets of the main body, thereby rotatably attaching the pluggable module to the main body, and electrically connecting the camera and headset modules with the inner circuit of the main body.

摘要: A digital camera assembly (9) includes a base member (1), a lens module (2), a spacer (7), and an image sensor (4). The lens module includes a tubular body (5), and an objective lens system (6) retained in the tubular body. The lens module, the spacer and the image sensor are located in the base member in that order from top to bottom. In assembly, the tubular body is rotated down into a threaded hole of the base member until the spacer contacts supporting arms (12) of the base member. An axial length of the spacer is predetermined such that when the spacer contacts the supporting arms, an imaging plane of the image sensor is positioned at a focal distance of the objective lens system. The imaging plane is thus quickly and accurately positioned at the focal distance. The digital camera assembly is simple to assemble and reduces manufacturing time.

摘要: A display apparatus (20) includes a display panel (22) having pixels, a movable light shielding plate (23), and a light deflection plate (24). The light shielding plate is interposed between the display panel and the light deflection plate, and includes strip-shaped transparent portions (231) and strip-shaped non-transparent portions (232) alternately arranged thereat. The light deflection plate includes a transparent substrate (243) having light deflection elements (2411) formed thereon. The light deflection elements are arranged in rows, which are spaced apart at predetermined intervals. The light deflection elements respectively correspond to individual pixels of the display panel. When the light shielding plate is positioned so that the transparent portions correspond to the light deflection elements, the light deflection elements operate to provide 3D images. When the light shielding plate is positioned so that the non-transparent portions correspond to the light deflection elements, the light deflection plate operates to provide 2D images.

摘要: A light aperture apparatus (1) used with an auto imaging machine comprises an aperture mask (30), a transparent structure (20), and an circuit chip (10), wherein the aperture mask is constructed of an opaque material and has a plurality of holes formed therein. The further the hole is from a center of the aperture mask, the larger the diameter of the hole is. The transparent structure has a plurality of lenslets (26) on it. Each lenslet corresponds in position to a hole of the aperture mask. The circuit chip has a plurality of detector areas (14) surrounded by non-detector areas (15). Each detector area corresponds in position to a lenslet on the transparent structure.
