摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide the diamond polishing device having a function capable of performing polishing even a surface of a semi-closed space such as an inner circumferential surface of a cylinder member or a ring member. The polishing device of the present invention includes a polishing member having a long shape, means for delivering and winding the polishing member, a polishing member support that holds the polishing member to be capable of being wound and displaced, a base to which the polishing member support is attached, and pressing means for pressing the base toward a machining surface of a member to be polished. The base includes an extending section that extends in a direction different from the pressing direction. The polishing member support is disposed at a distal end portion of the extending section.

摘要: An aluminum can wherein, when the light reflected by the outer surface of the body portion of the aluminum can is evaluated based on the LCH method by using a multi-angle spectral colorimeter, the aluminum can features a ratio C15h/C15w of 0.6 to 1.4, the ratio C15h/C15w being that of a saturation value C15h of the light reflected at 15 degrees in the direction of height and a saturation value C15w of the light reflected at an angle 15 of degrees in the circumferential direction based on the light regularly reflected from the light that is incident at 45 degrees in the direction of height and in the circumferential direction.

摘要: A jig for metal plastic working for use in plastic working of a metal or alloy workpiece, in which a working surface is moved relative to the workpiece in contact with the workpiece. The working surface of the jig is smoothed so that an arithmetic mean surface roughness Ra is not more than 0.12 μm, and so that no protrusion is observed that has a width of not less than 200 μm and a height of not less than 10 μm, which are calculated on a basis of a projection thereof along a working direction.

摘要: A method of producing aluminum cans, including an ironing step using an ironing die (30). The ironing die has a carbon film (50) formed as to cover a working surface thereof. The carbon film exhibits a Raman spectrum such that an intensity ratio represented by ID/IG wherein ID is a maximum peak intensity at 1333±10 cm−1 in the Raman spectrum of the surface of said carbon film, and IG is a maximum peak intensity at 1500±100 cm−1 in the Raman spectrum of the surface of said carbon film, is not less than 1.2. The surface of the carbon film is a smooth surface having an arithmetic mean roughness R of not more than 0.05 μm. Further, the ironing step includes iron-working an aluminum sheet in a dry process using no lubricant while maintaining an ironing ratio in excess of 40%.
