摘要: Systems and methods of object classification at point of sale are provided. In one exemplary embodiment, a method is performed by a POS system having processing circuitry operationally coupled to a transducer operable to radiate a pressure wave and a sensor operable to sense a pressure wave. Further, the transducer and the sensor are positioned on or about the POS system so that a field of radiation of the transducer and a field of detection of the sensor are directed towards a certain region of the POS system. The method includes receiving, from the sensor, a reflected signal that represents a pressure wave radiated by the transducer that is reflected from a surface of an object when in or about the certain region of the POS system so that the object can be classified as at least one of a set of object types based on the reflected signal.

摘要: Systems and methods of expanding a bagging system are provided. In one exemplary embodiment, a method is performed by a bagging station device configured to couple to a terminal station device. The bagging station device includes an outer expandable frame, an inner expandable frame having an inner movable mechanism coupled between first and second inner frame portions, first and second panels disposed on the corresponding first and second inner frame portions, and a set of load sensors coupled between the inner and outer expandable frames. The method includes sending, by each load sensor, to the terminal station device, a measurement of a load associated with one or more objects placed on a surface of the first or second panel. The inner moveable mechanism is configured to enable the first or second panel to move along a longitudinal plane of the inner expandable frame.

摘要: The present disclosure provides improved methods for generating, by a computing device, graphical elements on a display. The computing device, comprising at least part of one or more graphical elements, identifies an obstructed portion of a display that is blocked by the object. The computing device identifies an unobstructed portion of the display that is not blocked by an object and arranges one or more graphical elements from the obstructed portion to the unobstructed portion of the display.

摘要: Systems and methods of multidirectional robotic shelf restocking are performed. In one exemplary embodiment, a multidirectional robotic shelf restocking apparatus is configured to operate in first and second adjoining regions. The first region being above or below the second region defined by opposing stocked shelf structures. The apparatus includes a vertical motion mechanism and a corresponding vertical motion drive operable to move the vertical motion mechanism in a vertical direction. Further, the apparatus includes an arm member and a corresponding rotational motion drive operable to rotate the arm member between the stocked shelf structures and a corresponding linear motion drive operable to linearly extend and retract the arm member. In addition, the apparatus includes an end effector coupled to the arm member and configured to transfer an item from the first region to the second region by the motion of the vertical motion mechanism and the arm member.

摘要: Systems and methods for service technicians to use when called upon to diagnose and repair electronic or electro-mechanical systems are provided. In one exemplary embodiment, a method is performed by an electronic display coupled to a location on a serviceable unit that is visible at an external region of the serviceable unit. The electronic display is operable to enable presentation of a digital image. The method includes powering the electronic display to enable display of the digital image when the serviceable unit receives an error. The digital image is indicative of a Universal Resource Locator (URL) associated with the error.
