摘要: A system and method of Random-Access Response, RAR, messaging when a base station employs narrow beamforming. Multiple RAR messages are successively transmitted from the base station to a User Equipment, UE, before any response to a RAR message is received from the UE. Thus, despite any calibration mismatch between Uplink, UL, and Downlink, DL, beams in the beamformed system, a RAR message is not only received by the UE, but is received over the most-suitable DL beam for that UE. Each RAR message may contain a message-specific scheduling-delay indicator in the UL grant carried in the RAR message to provide an adjustable time delay for the UE's uplink transmission scheduled by the UL grant. Multiple RAR transmissions can schedule a single UL transmission at a specific time instance or different UL transmissions at different time intervals. The UE may report to the base station the best DL RAR transmission detected by the UE.

摘要: A method in a wireless device for performing random access to a network node. The method comprises receiving a set of downlink beam-specific reference signals, BRS, from the network node, and determining a preferred BRS based on the received signal power for each BRS. The method also comprises selecting, based on the preferred BRS, a random-access resource to be used for transmitting a random-access attempt to the network node, as well as using the selected random-access resource when transmitting a random-access attempt to the network node, whereby the selection of random-access resource indicates to the network node which downlink beam is preferred by the wireless device to be used for downlink transmissions.

In one exemplary embodiment, a method (600) by a radio component (403, 503) of a wireless device (400, 500) may include receiving (601), by the radio component, from a baseband component (401, 501) of the wireless device, transmit data during a transmit-time interval associated with a synchronous wireless communication system. Further, the method may include, detecting (603), by the radio component, that a medium associated with an asynchronous communication system is available. Also, in response to detecting, the method may include, transmitting (605), by the radio component, the transmit data on the medium during the transmit-time interval.

摘要: Methods by network nodes and related network nodes are disclosed for configuring a user equipment (UE) in a telecommunications system. The UE is configured with a Channel-State Information (CSI) measurement resource with subframe-less configuration. A grant is sent on Enhanced Physical Downlink Control Channel ((e)PDCCH) for the UE with a Radio Network Temporary Identifier (RNTI_CSI) including specification of subframe configuration of CSI-measurement resources. A CSI-reference signal (CSI-RS) is sent according to a desired scheme in subframes indicated by the subframe configuration. Corresponding methods by UEs and related UEs are also disclosed.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to random access in wireless communication systems, and in particular to transmitting, receiving, and detecting preamble sequences. A method in a wireless device for transmitting a preamble sequence to a network node is disclosed. The method comprises configuring a number of preamble sequences into two or more preamble sets, wherein each preamble set is associated with at least one respective uplink transmission condition; determining a transmission condition of an uplink from the wireless device to the network node; and selecting one out of the two or more preamble sets based on the determined transmission condition to be a selected preamble set, and a preamble sequence from the selected preamble set to be a selected preamble sequence; as well as transmitting the selected preamble sequence on the uplink.

摘要: Techniques according to which HARQ feedback transmitted from a wireless device to a base station includes not only the ACK/NACK status for the corresponding hybrid automatic-repeat-request, HARQ, process, but also certain information that was provided by the network in the last received downlink assignment. An example method, as implemented in a wireless device operating in a wireless communication network, comprises receiving (610) from the wireless communication network, in a first transmission-time interval, a resource-assignment message indicating resources allocated for a data transmission to the wireless device. The example method further comprises transmitting (620) to the wireless communication network, in a second transmission-time interval, feedback information that includes an indication of whether the data transmission was correctly received by the wireless device and further includes one or more mirrored information fields copied from the resource-assignment message.

摘要: Embodiments herein relate to a method performed by a network node (110) in a wireless communications network (100) for handling Automatic Repeat reQuest, ARQ, feedback information from a wireless device (121) relating to downlink transmissions from the network node (110). The network node (110) obtains an indication of a downlink processing delay for the ARQ feedback information from the wireless device (121). Then, the network node (110) considers the ARQ feedback information relating to a downlink transmission from the wireless device (121) to be invalid when, according to the obtained indication of a downlink processing delay, the downlink transmission has not been processed by the wireless device (121). 摘要: A method by a user equipment is disclosed for decoding data from a network node in a telecommunications system. The method includes determining whether a discovery signal was received from the network node by detecting of another signal received from the network node, which may be a Primary Synchronization Signal (PSS) and/or a Secondary Synchronization Signal (SSS). Based on detecting that the another signal was received, the method includes determining whether a grant is present based on processing an Evolved Physical Downlink Control CHannel, ePDCCH. Based on determining that a grant is present, the method includes decoding a Physical Downlink Shared Channel, PDSCH, using the ePDCCH and the discovery signal.
