Abstract:
A washer nozzle removes foreign matter on an image capturing surface of a camera mounted to the outside of a vehicle by supplying washer fluid to the image capturing surface. The washer nozzle includes an inside spray hole and a discharge portion. The inside spray hole sprays the washer fluid introduced into the washer nozzle. The discharge portion receives washer fluid sprayed from the inside spray hole. The discharge portion has a passage extending in a direction intersecting the spray direction of the washer fluid and a discharge port connected to the passage. The discharge portion discharges, from the discharge port, washer fluid sprayed from the inside spray hole along the image capturing surface, while filling the passage with the washer fluid, thereby washing the image capturing surface.
Abstract:
Errors of a measuring system are corrected by acquiring the phases of transmission tracking errors. A network analyzer includes a measuring system error factor recording unit which records measuring system error factors generated independently of frequency conversion carried out by a DUT, and an error factor acquiring unit which measures first coefficients and second coefficients of a correction mixer where a signal output from a terminal is a sum of a product of a signal input to the terminal and the first coefficient, and a product of a signal input to the other terminal and the second coefficient, and the ratio of magnitudes of the second coefficients is constant, and acquires the transmission tracking errors caused by the frequency conversion based on the measuring system error factors recorded in the measuring system error factor recording unit, the first coefficients, and the second coefficients.

Abstract:
A through capacitor which includes a generally cylindrical inner electrode having a through hole through which a lead terminal extends. The lead terminal has a protuberance adjacent to and axially outward of a first opening of the hole. A generally cylindrical outer electrode surrounds the inner electrode in radially spaced relation thereto. The lead terminal is fixed to the inner electrode with solder including a radially expanded portion of solder embedding the protuberance therein. The inner electrode is bent radially outwardly such that the through hole is tapered radially outwardly toward a second opening opposite the first opening to define an expanded space between the lead terminal and the inner electrode. Solder fills the expanded space so as to resist axial movement of the lead terminal through the through hole in the direction from the second opening toward the first opening.
Abstract:
An LC composite component employing a ceramic sintered body obtained by laminating pluralities of magnetic green sheets and dielectric green sheets and cofiring the same. The ceramic sintered body is provided therein with a magnetic region and a dielectric region along the direction of thickness. The magnetic region of the sintered body is provided with at least one inner electrode layer which extends to first opposite side surfaces of the sintered body, thereby to define an inductance unit. The dielectric region is provided with a plurality of electrodes oppositely arranged through the dielectric substance, which plurality of electrodes includes first and second electrodes. A pair of first outer electrodes are formed on the first side surfaces of the sintered body, to be electrically connected with the inner electrode formed in the magnetic region. The first electrode in the dielectric region is electrically connected with at least one of the first outer electrodes, and the second electrodes is connected with a second outer electrode which is formed on another surface of the sintered body.
Abstract:
A plurality of feedthrough capacitor chips are received in a single casing and retained therein in such a manner that the first outer terminals thereof are connected in common to a single earth plate formed of an electrically conductive member and installed in the casing. The lower end edge of the earth plate is exposed out of the bottom surface of the casing. On the other hand, the second outer electrodes of the feedthrough capacitor chips are respectively connected to terminals which extend to the outside of the casing.

A heating apparatus includes a selectively movable heater for heating an object, a detection circuit for detecting the position of the heater, a memory for storing a signal from the detecting circuit, a control circuit for controlling the input and the output of the memory, and a heater moving device for selectively moving the heater so as to set the heater at a suitable position based on the output of the memory.
Abstract:
A combined microwave and electric heating oven includes a gas sensor for detecting a completion of the cooking operation, and a timer for determining a cooking time period. A selection lever is slidably secured on a control panel for selecting a desired gas concentration value at which the cooking operation should be automatically terminated. First switches are disposed at both ends of the sliding course of the selection lever for placing the combined microwave and electric heating oven in a timer controlled operation mode instead of a gas sensor output controlled automatic cooking operation mode when the selection lever is located either end of the sliding course. A second switch is disposed at a preselected position in the sliding course for selecting the electric heating cooking when the selection lever is located at the preselected position.
Abstract:
A microwave oven includes a gas sensor for detecting the concentration of gas developed from a foodstuff disposed in an oven cavity. When the cooking operation is conducted to a desired level, the gas concentration reaches a preselected level and, hence, an output signal of the gas sensor shows a predetermined output level at which the microwave generation is terminated. An abnormal condition detection circuit is provided for detecting an abnormally high resistance created in the gas sensor due to, for example, disconnection of a warming heater included in the gas sensor. When an abnormal condition is detected by the abnormal condition detection circuit, the microwave generation is terminated and an alarm display is conducted to inform the operator of the abnormal condition.
Abstract:
A food temperature-sensing probe is included within a microwave oven for monitoring an internal temperature of the food while it is being cooked therein. A probe jack inserted into a slipping connector transmits a food temperature signal detected by the food temperature-sensing probe to monitor the internal temperature of the food. The slipping connector is arranged on a top wall of the microwave oven cavity. More particularly, on the top wall at the position approximately corresponding to the center of a turntable when a turntable is positioned within the microwave oven. In a preferred form, the connector is so constructed as to permit the rotation of the temperature-sensing probe in unison with the rotation of the turntable.
