摘要: Systems and methods are provided for the reduction or elimination of redundant, uninteresting, and/or inefficient communications to remote devices (e.g. cloud servers) from vehicles collecting observation data. In-vehicle examples of the systems and methods are provided, wherein the associated methods for reducing or eliminating such redundant, uninteresting, and/or inefficient communications are performed on a vehicle. Cloud-based examples of the systems and methods are provided, wherein the associated methods for reducing or eliminating such redundant, uninteresting, and/or inefficient communications are performed on a remote device (e.g. a cloud server).

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for generating a real-time lane-level traffic map based on outbound sensor information. In particular, some embodiments generate lane-level traffic maps using radar sensor information. The populated real-time lane-level traffic maps are shared to other vehicles and may be used by autonomous vehicle systems to maneuver the vehicle.

摘要: Systems and methods of unsafe driving detection are provided which share partial unsafe driving behavior analyses with others in order to ensure that unsafe driving behavior is detected as early as possible. For example, in response to an event which interrupts a first detecting vehicle from collecting additional driving behavior data associated with a subject vehicle, the first detecting vehicle may transfer driving behavior data it has already collected and processed, to another detecting entity (e.g., a second detecting vehicle) in observable range of the subject vehicle.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for programmatically determining an abnormal driving performed by a second vehicle. The systems and methods may, for example, receive first driving data from a sensor of the ego vehicle, the first driving data comprising a gap in time-series data entries of movements of the second vehicle; receive second driving data that fills in the gap in the time-series data entries of the second vehicle; aggregate the first driving data with the second driving data to aggregated driving data to generate metadata, the aggregated driving data comprising movements of the second vehicle that exceed a threshold value of predicted movements defined in a model of abnormal driving detection, and the metadata used to select the model of abnormal driving detection; and execute an algorithm that provides driving assistance for the ego vehicle in responding to the predicted movements defined in the model of abnormal driving detection.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for improving the performance of anomaly detection, including detecting abnormal driving behavior at locations and in driving situations where the accuracy of detecting abnormal driving behavior has decreased or known to cause inaccurate performance responses. For example, the anomaly detection mechanism may detect abnormal driving behavior (e.g., delayed responses, road rage, swerving, etc.) or environmental anomalies (e.g., potholes, fallen trees, etc.), and particular driving situations or locations can have repeatedly shown decreased rates of accuracy with responding to these anomalies, including abnormal driving behavior (e.g., delayed driver responses to left-turns, U-turns, traffic light, railroad crossing, construction zones, etc.) or situations that are known to cause inaccurate performance responses (e.g., potholes, fallen trees, etc.). Embodiments can revise the anomaly detection system to operate the vehicle more consistently with other human drivers.

摘要: Driver assistance systems tend to imitate the driving behaviors of neighboring vehicles, and thus any resulting action(s) of the vehicle's driver assistance system will be influenced by such driving behaviors. If the driving behaviors are undesirable, such undesirable driving behaviors tend to propagate amongst neighboring vehicles. Systems and methods are provided for selective enablement or adjustment of a vehicle's driver assistance system, where the vehicle's driver assistance system can either be prohibited from being enabled, or when already in use, adjusting the default operation to compensate/offset/account for the undesirable driving behaviors that may be imitated by another vehicle. Moreover, coordinated efforts amongst a plurality of neighboring vehicles may be implemented to compensate/offset/account for undesirable driving behaviors.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for estimating the energy range of an electric vehicle, including updating an energy consumption estimation model based on the location of a vehicle or based on the current time. One embodiment comprises obtaining a route of a vehicle and deploying an energy consumption estimation model to provide an energy consumption estimate along the route from a first location to a destination. In response to determining that the vehicle enters a subsequent location, the energy consumption estimation model is updated with a location model received from an edge/cloud server, to estimate an energy range along the route through the subsequent location.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for forming remote vehicular micro clouds at one or more remote locations. According to some embodiments, the methods and systems comprise responsive to receiving a request to form a vehicular micro cloud from a client device, communicating with a plurality of vehicles within an area of a geographic location to collectively form a vehicular micro cloud at the geographic location, where client device is remote from the area of the geographic location. The methods and systems further include receiving resource data from the plurality of vehicles, the resource data comprising detection results of an environment surrounding the geographic location based on sensor sets of the plurality of vehicles, and transmitting the resource data to the client device.
