摘要: Systems and methods are provided for forming a knowledge hub. According to some embodiments, the methods and systems comprise determining a region of interest comprising a geographical portion of a roadway, determining an appropriate notification associated with the region of interest, the appropriate notification comprising instructions to navigate the geographical portion of the roadway, examining available resources to generate a knowledge hub about the region of interest and notifying the driver of the vehicle of the appropriate notification associated with the region of interest when the vehicle enters into the region of interest.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for forming remote vehicular micro clouds at one or more remote locations. According to some embodiments, the methods and systems comprise responsive to receiving a request to form a vehicular micro cloud from a client device, communicating with a plurality of vehicles within an area of a geographic location to collectively form a vehicular micro cloud at the geographic location, where client device is remote from the area of the geographic location. The methods and systems further include receiving resource data from the plurality of vehicles, the resource data comprising detection results of an environment surrounding the geographic location based on sensor sets of the plurality of vehicles, and transmitting the resource data to the client device.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for providing context-based knowledge forwarding which ties a contextual meaning to knowledge, ensuring that knowledge is received within the proper context. A vehicle can query knowledge within a context (e.g., rainy weather conditions), and in response will be forwarded knowledge that was created in similar context (e.g., rainy weather). Contextual features are assigned to knowledge during a knowledge cycle, and contextual features are leveraged when the knowledge is forwarded to be utilized by entities in the vehicular knowledge network. A computer system can construct a knowledge context that corresponds to knowledge. The computer system can also perform context-based knowledge forwarding for a knowledge query by determining that the knowledge context corresponds to a query context of a knowledge query. Consequently, by forwarding knowledge in the correct context, the knowledge is increasingly accurate and beneficial within the vehicular knowledge network, thereby realizing improved vehicle/driver safety features.

摘要: Examples of the presently disclosed technology provide systems and methods for intelligently withholding selected basic safety messages (or other similar messages) from transmission by determining that current vehicle state-related information contained in the selected BSMs is redundant to predicted vehicle state-related information contained in a previously transmitted maneuver message (or other similar messages). Accordingly, examples of the presently disclosed technology can reduce strain on wireless communication channel resources (e.g., proximate to large traffic environments) by reducing the number of messages exchanged among connected vehicles—while preserving the traffic safety and efficiency advantages associated with such communication.
