Each of the pump cell and the power generation cell has: a membrane electrode gas diffusion layer assembly; a first separator and a second separator; and a first gas channel and a second gas channel. In each of the pump cell and the power generation cell, the first gas channel and the second gas channel are formed such that an amount of pressure loss in the first gas channel is smaller than an amount of pressure loss in the second gas channel.

摘要: An output performance diagnosis apparatus for a fuel cell acquires, in a case where determination is made that a representative value of impedance of the fuel cell acquired during a trip of a vehicle traveling with a fuel cell as a power source is equal to or less than an impedance threshold, during the trip in which the impedance is acquired, a current-voltage characteristic of the fuel cell based on a change of an output voltage of the fuel cell after a period in which the output voltage of the fuel cell is maintained in a range equal to or higher than a lower limit voltage and equal to or lower than a voltage threshold higher than the lower limit voltage over a predetermined period or more, and calculates maximum output electric power of the fuel cell based on the acquired current-voltage characteristic.

摘要: To provide a fuel cell system configured to suppress irreversible performance degradation of a fuel cell. A fuel cell system wherein the controller preliminarily stores a data group indicating a relationship between, when a predetermined amount of hydrogen gas is supplied from the fuel gas supplier, an amount of the supplied hydrogen gas and a hydrogen pressure increase rate; wherein the controller calculates a fuel gas pressure increase rate from a pressure change detected by the pressure sensor when the fuel gas is supplied to the fuel cell; wherein the controller determines whether or not the fuel gas pressure increase rate is smaller than the hydrogen pressure increase rate; and wherein, when the controller determines that the fuel gas pressure increase rate is smaller than the hydrogen pressure increase rate, the controller prohibits power generation of the fuel cell.

When supply of the fuel gas by the injector is stopped, the control device opens the discharge valve while the off-gas is recirculated to the fuel cell and closes the discharge valve before supply of the fuel gas by the injector is restarted.
