摘要: An animal rescue system identifies and rescues a protection target which is an animal, using information from a camera. The animal rescue system includes: a plurality of movable bodies each equipped with a camera; and a server configured to communicate with the plurality of movable bodies. The server is configured to identify a protection target, using information from the camera mounted on each of the plurality of movable bodies. The server is configured, when the protection target is identified, to (a) acquire positional information about each of the plurality of movable bodies and positional information about the protection target, and (b) select, as the protection target moves, a movable body which is to monitor the protection target, from the plurality of movable bodies.

摘要: A vehicle information communication system includes: a plurality of vehicles; and a server configured to communicate with the plurality of vehicles. The server is configured to perform communication by using either a first communication mode or a second communication mode. In the first communication mode, the server receives and transmits information to and from each of the plurality of vehicles individually. In the second communication mode, the server receives and transmits the information to and from a part of the plurality of vehicles and the information is shared among the plurality of vehicles by using vehicle-to-vehicle communication.

摘要: An environment improvement system includes: a sensor configured to detect a state of pollution by an environmental pollutant; a plurality of vehicles; and a server configured to communicate with the plurality of vehicles. The plurality of vehicles include vehicles including environment improvement devices configured to remove the environmental pollutant. When a pollution level by the environmental pollutant exceeds a threshold value in an area where the sensor is located, the server is configured to select at least a part of the vehicles including the environment improvement devices and cause the selected vehicles to move to the area, and to output a command to execute an environment improvement operation using the environment improvement devices.

摘要: An information providing system includes a plurality of vehicle, a charging station, and a management server. The management server is configured to communicate with the plurality of vehicles and the charging station. Each of the vehicles allows charging of a power storage device mounted therein using electric power from the charging station and performs inter-vehicle charging for charging another vehicle using electric power of the power storage device. The management server obtains a congestion degree in the charging station and a destination of a vehicle. When a charging station is installed as an annex at a destination of the vehicle, and when the congestion degree exceeds a threshold value, the management server selects a candidate vehicle capable of performing inter-vehicle charging from among other vehicles that aim at a destination identical to the destination of the vehicle, and transmits information about the selected candidate vehicle to the vehicle.

摘要: An EV priority switch is configured to allow a user to request a change between an EV priority mode and an HV mode. If an SOC of a power storage device is less than a first threshold value when the change to the HV mode is requested from the EV priority switch during the EV priority mode, an ECU changes the running mode to attain the HV mode and controls the SOC to be close to the SOC at the moment of a request for the change to the HV mode. If the SOC is greater than or equal to the first threshold value, the ECU maintains the EV priority mode. If the SOC reaches a second threshold value less than the first threshold value, the ECU forcefully changes the running mode to attain the HV mode.
