A washer-dryer has a tub, a drum rotatably disposed inside the tub, and warm air feeding means for feeding warm air to dry laundry put in the drum. The washer-dryer further has an ion generating device that generates ions for sterilizing the laundry. The ion generating device feeds the ions to the drum and the tub. This makes it possible to realize a washer-dryer that can kill germs attached to clothes or floating in circulated air and thereby keep clothes clean.

A drum type washing and drying machine has a water tank (4), a rotary drum rotatably provided in the water tank (5), a dehumidifying heat exchanger for dehumidifying air introduced from inside of the rotary drum (5), a heater unit for heating the air dehumidified by the dehumidifying heat exchanger, and a blower (131) for introducing the air in the rotary drum (5) into the dehumidifying heat exchanger and delivering into the rotary drum (5) the air heated by the heater unit. A filter (160) is placed in a suction-side channel between the rotary drum (5) and the blower and on an upstream side of air flow produced by the blower (131) in a drying process. The filter (160) is placed so as to be soaked in water supplied into the water tank in a washing process or in a rinsing process.

A washing/drying machine including a washtub, a feeding device for feeding water to the washtub, a draining device for draining water from the washtub, a tumbling drum, rotatably supported by a lateral axis in the washtub, having a plurality of holes through which air and water pass and an opening for introducing the washing, and a lid for closing the opening, a motor for rotating the drum at various speeds, a disc for agitating the washing, disposed in the drum adjacent to a flat end wall of the drum in parallel with the wall, a bearing device for rotatably bearing the disc, a fixing device for selectively fixing the disc, a device for supplying hot air to the drum, and a controller for controlling the fixing device to intermittently fix the disc against the rotation of the drum, and a controlling method thereof.

The disclosure is directed to methods, treatment regimens, uses, kits and therapies for treating Generalized Pustular Psoriasis (GPP). These methods, treatment regimens, uses, kits and therapies utilize, inter alia, administration of an IL-17 antagonist, e.g., an IL-17 antibody, such as secukinumab. Additionally disclosed are improved methods for treating plaque-type psoriasis that utilize up-titration and down-titration of the IL-17 antagonist, e.g., an IL-17 antibody, such as secukinumab, as well as modification of dose frequency. Further disclosed are methods of treating palmoplantar pustular psoriasis using the disclosed IL-17 antagonists, e.g., IL-17 antibodies, such as secukinumab.

A liquid crystal display panel comprises a pair of polarizers, the polarization axes of the polarizers being substantially orthogonal each other, a pair of substrates each supporting an electrode, a film provided between one of the substrates and one of the polarizers, the film having an optical axis inclined to the polarization axis of said one of the polarizers at about 45.degree., and a liquid crystal material disposed between the substrates, molecules of the liquid crystal material being twisted at about 90.degree. between the surface of the substrates. The panel is adapted to provide a positive type display where the film is not positioned and the panel is adapted to provide a negative type display where the film is positioned.
