Abstract:
An image forming apparatus transfers image data stored in a first storing part of a side of a first control part to a side of a writing engine. A second storing part temporarily stores the image data from said first storing part. When data stored in the second storing part reaches a data amount to be previously stored in order that continuous transfer of the image data to the side of the writing engine from the second storing part is available at a predetermined transfer rate, even when a predetermined delay occurs in a transfer operation of the image data from the first storing part to the second storing part, reading of the image data from the second storing part is started for starting image forming operation.
Abstract:
A control device including an image enlarging unit that creates enlarged image data of image data by repeatedly using a line in the image data; and a control unit that reads, from a storing unit in which the image data is stored, the image data and outputs, to the image enlarging unit, the image data for each line, the output being performed at time intervals corresponding to the number of times the line is used in accordance with an enlargement ratio of the image data to the enlarged image data.
Abstract:
A white reference member is used to obtain white reference data. An image sensor scans the white reference member line by line to obtain a plurality of lines of white reference data. A skipping unit skips the white reference data with a predetermined skipping ratio to generate a skipped white reference data. A dust detecting unit detects a dust between the white reference member and the image sensor based on the skipped white reference data.
Abstract:
The image processing device comprises a first function block section formed of functional blocks which require a supply of power so as to maintain the image processing device in an operating state when the power supply is on, and a second function block section formed of functional blocks which need not be supplied with the power so as to maintain the image processing device in an operating state even when the power supply is on. The supply of power to the second function block section can be stopped when desired, while continuing the supply of power to the first function block section, thereby saving the power.
