    Abstract: A device and method for monitoring the heart rate of a patient for a bradyarrhythmia event and thereafter administering medications is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of monitoring heart rate via at least one sensor secured to the neck or head of a patient; and if a bradyarrhythmia event is determined; applying an anticholinergic medication to the conjunctiva of at least one eye and releasing ammonia vapor in close proximity to the nostrils of a patient.

    Abstract: A vehicle having a vehicle cabin, a steering wheel adapted to include at least one sensor to measure arteriolo-capillary pulse wave intervals of a driver when the steering wheel is gripped by the driver, a computer, a proximity sensor system, rear tail lights, navigation system and an audio system, wherein the steering wheel, at least one sensor, proximity sensor system, rear tail lights navigation system and audio system are each operably connected to the computer; and when the steering wheel is gripped by the driver, communicating the arteriolo-capillary pulse wave intervals of the driver to the computer to determine whether the driver is experiencing a pulseless condition and if a pulseless condition exceeding about six seconds is determined, the computer will assume control of the vehicle and using the vehicle navigation system, bring the vehicle to a controlled stop.

    Abstract: A sublingual type medication delivery device includes a container body having a predetermined volume of solvent with a spray dispenser attached at one end of the container and at the opposite end of the container is a housing which contains medication to be discharged into the container and mixed with the solvent to form a diluted medication for fractional delivery of the medication over a period of time. The housing can either be a tablet crusher for introducing medicament in solid form into the container or the housing can be a capsule having liquid medicament that is delivered through a needle that pierces the capsule wall.

    Abstract: A device and method for monitoring a human heart rate to determine whether a bradyarrhythmia event has occurred and if so determined, an electrocardiogram (ECG) rhythm strip is begun to be generated on a continuous basis in real-time and wirelessly communicated to a third party such as the patient's treating physician. The method comprises a pair of sensors for detecting heart rate, each sensor in contact with a respective ear of the patient. If a bradyarrhythmia event is determined; applying an anticholinergic medication to the conjunctiva of at least one eye and releasing ammonia vapor for inhalation by the patient.
