    摘要: Disclosed is an electrolyte for a secondary battery comprising an electrolyte salt and an electrolyte solvent, the electrolyte further comprising a lactam-based compound substituted with an electron withdrawing group (EWG) at the nitrogen position thereof. The electrolyte allows formation of a firm and dense SEI film on the surface of an anode, minimizes irreversible oxidative decomposition at a cathode, and thus can provide a battery with significantly improved lifespan, stability and high temperature characteristics.

    摘要: Disclosed is an electrolyte for batteries, comprising: (a) an electrolyte salt; (b) an organic solvent; (c) a first compound having an oxidation initiation voltage (vs. Li/Li+) higher than the operating voltage of a cathode; and (d) a second reversible compound having an oxidation initiation voltage higher than the operating voltage of the cathode, but lower than the oxidation initiation voltage of the first compound. Also disclosed is a lithium secondary battery comprising said electrolyte. In the lithium secondary battery, two compounds having different safety improvement actions at a voltage higher than the operating voltage of the cathode are used in combination as electrolyte components. Thus, the safety of the secondary battery in an overcharged state can be ensured, and at the same time, the deterioration of the battery can be prevented from occurring when it is repeatedly cycled, continuously charged and stored at high temperature for a long time.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a nonaqueous electrolyte solution containing new additives and a lithium secondary battery including the same. More particularly, the invention relates to a nonaqueous electrolyte solution containing a lithium salt, an electrolyte compound, a first additive compound with an oxidation initiation potential of more than 4.2 V, and a second additive compound with an oxidation initiation potential of more than 4.2 V, which is higher in oxidation initiation potential than the first additive, and deposits oxidative products or form a polymer film, in oxidation, as well as a lithium secondary battery including the same. The present invention can provide a lithium secondary battery excellent in both the battery performance and the battery safety in overcharge by the combined use of the first additive and the second battery as additives to the nonaqueous electrolyte solution.

The electrochemical device using the sulfonate-based compound containing a cyano group, an isocyanate group, a thiocyanate group and/or an isothiocyanate group as an additive for electrolytes can provide significantly improved high-temperature lifespan characteristics.

Also, the lithium secondary battery can provide improved cycle characteristics and high-temperature storage characteristics.

    摘要: Disclosed is an electrolyte comprising: (a) an electrolyte salt; (b) a non-aqueous electrolyte solvent; and (c) a binary or multinary metal oxide salt. An electrochemical device comprising the same electrolyte is also disclosed. The metal oxide salt used in the electrolyte is dissolved in a non-aqueous solvent and generates oxyanions capable of improving corrosion resistance of metals. Therefore, the electrolyte prevents corrosion of metallic materials present in an electrochemical device, caused by extreme conditions, such as overcharge, overdischarge and high-temperature storage conditions, to which the device is exposed. Further, the electrolyte prevents degradation in the quality of an electrochemical device, caused by corrosion of metallic materials.

    摘要: An LCD device is discussed, which comprises first and second substrates confronting each other; a liquid crystal layer between the first and second substrates; and red, green, blue, and fourth color filters on the first substrate; wherein the fourth color filter is formed of any color whose transparency is better than that of at least one of the red, green, and blue color filters, and wherein an effective area of the fourth color filter is smaller than that of at least one of the red, green, and blue color filters. The LCD device can display white color with good transparency by properly adjusting the effective areas of the four color filters, whereby there is no need to modulate light for display of the white color in a backlight unit, to thereby improve luminance of light emitted from the backlight unit.
