摘要： System and methods for detecting and monitoring power characteristics amongst connected devices in a multi-device system, such as a conferencing system, are disclosed. The system and methods sense power characteristics at various points within the system, such as at ports of the host and client devices. The hosts and client devices can include control units and conferencing units (e.g., microphones) in conferencing applications. The power characteristics can be communicated to the host device for further treatment, such as monitoring, processing and outputting data to allow determination of conditions associated with the power distribution of the system.

A system includes a plurality of wireless devices configured to operate using battery power, and a computing device remote from the plurality of wireless devices. The computing device is configured to wirelessly communicate with one or more of the plurality of wireless devices, determine a device list ranking the plurality of wireless devices based on respective remaining battery life of each wireless device, and sequentially update the plurality of wireless devices based on the device list.

摘要： A portable audio networking system is provided that includes master devices and slave devices in communication over cables adapted to simultaneously transport a digital audio signal, DC power, and a data signal. Master devices are configured to receive a digital audio signal, distribute power, and transceive a data signal, and slave devices are configured to transmit the digital audio signal to master devices, receive the power from master devices, and transceive the data signal with master devices. Slave devices can include wireless audio receivers that receive an RF signal containing an audio signal from wireless audio transmitters. Master devices can include gateway interconnection devices that act as hubs and routers for the system. The reduction in the number of cables compared to traditional systems results in less weight for crew members to carry and easier setup of the system. Remote control of wireless audio transmitters is also enabled.
