The method includes receiving a first request message forwarded by a distributed unit in a base station and indication information of the distributed unit with respect to the first request message, the first request message requesting to connect a user equipment to a network; determining a processing to be performed on the first request message based on the indication Information; and transmitting an indication of the determined processing to the distributed unit.

Abstract: A communication method and system are provided for converging a 5G communication system with technology for IoT. A method performed by a V2X includes receiving, from a terminal, a V2X message including location information on the terminal; determining a first MBMS broadcast area for a V2X service based on the location information on the terminal; transmitting, to a BMSC, a first request message for the V2X service including information on the first MBMS broadcast area and a first TMGI for the V2X service, wherein the information on the first MBMS broadcast area includes at least one MBMS SAI mapped to the location information on the terminal; and transmitting, to the BMSC, a second request message for the V2X service, the second request message including information on a second MBMS broadcast area for broadcasting second MBMS data for the V2X service and the first TMGI. The first MBMS data is broadcast within the first MBMS broadcast area, and the first TMGI is used for the second MBMS data, in case that the first MBMS broadcast area does not overlap the second MBMS broadcast area.

Abstract: An embodiment of the present disclosure may provide an inter-MeNB handover method in a small cell system, including: making, by a source MeNB and/or target MeNB, a determination as to whether to maintain a SeNB when handover is performed; and triggering different handover processes according to a result of the determination as to whether to maintain the SeNB. Another embodiment of the present disclosure may further provide an inter-MeNB handover device in a small cell system. With the inter-MeNB handover method and device in a small cell system provided by the present disclosure, unnecessary deletion and re-establishment of the bearers at the SeNB for the UE may be reduced. False bearer deletion may be avoided and data forwarding may be reduced. Furthermore, the SeNB may be maintained according to network deployment and SGW re-selection may be supported. Therefore, system capacity and transmission speed of the data may be improved.

Abstract: The present application discloses a switch supporting method comprising: an eNB sends a path switching request message to an MME to notify the MME of information on a bearer remaining unchanged; the MME reserves the bearer remaining unchanged and does not trigger a deactivation process for the bearer remaining unchanged; the MME sends a modify bearer request message to an SGW. With the present application, data loss can be avoided and service continuity is ensured when a UE moves in a small cell scenario.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method for supporting release of a SIPTO bearer or a LIPA bearer in dual-connectivity architecture. The method is implemented as follows. A MeNB sends a message to a SeNB. The message contains indication information for SIPTO at local network bearer deactivation or LIPA bearer deactivation. The indication information may indicate the SeNB to notify a collocated LGW of releasing PDN connection of SIPTO at local network or the PDN connection of LIPA. After receiving the message, the SeNB removes radio and control plane related resources associated to the UE context or the SIPTO at local network bearer or the LIPA bearer, and if the message contains the indication information for SIPTO@LN bearer deactivation or LIPA bearer deactivation, sends an internal signaling to the collocated LGW to indicate the collocated LGW to release the PDN connection of the SIPTO at local network or the PDN connection of the LIPA. The SeNB is a SeNB supporting functions of the LGW that supports operations of the SIPTO at local network or the operations of the LIPA. By the method of the present disclosure, the SIPTO bearer or the LIPA bearer in the dual-connectivity architecture can be released, thereby avoiding inaccurate operations in an access network, ensuring that the SIPTO bearer or the LIPA bearer can be released duly and accurately, and avoiding inaccurate release of the SIPTO bearer or the LIPA bearer.

The base station performs an access control to the UE according to the information indicating whether the UE is authorized for the D2D service. The present disclosure further provides a method in which a source base station informs a target base station of the information indicating whether the UE is authorized for a D2D service. The target base station performs an access control according to the information.
