Abstract:
A method for guiding a text editing position is provided, which includes when generation of a touch event at a position in a text editing window is detected, determining a type of the touch event; and performing a predetermined function with respect to a word including letters located at the detected touch event-generated position according to the determined type of the touch event.
Abstract:
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a touchscreen, at least one processor electrically connected with the touchscreen, and a memory electrically connected with the processor. The memory may store instructions executed to enable the at least one processor to display a first window for running a first application and a second window for running a second application on the touchscreen, display a virtual keypad on a portion of the first window and a portion of the second window corresponding to a first input to a focused window of the first window and the second window, and vary a size of the virtual keypad corresponding to a second input to the virtual keypad.
Abstract:
An electronic device is provided and includes a touch screen and a processor that is configured to display a first object among a plurality of sequentially arranged objects on the touch screen, display, when a first user input that satisfies a designated condition is detected via the touch screen while the first object is displayed, a second object arranged subsequent to the first object according to an arrangement order among the plurality of objects on the touch screen, and display, when a second user input that does not satisfy the designated condition is detected via the touch screen while the first object is displayed, a third object designated regardless of the arrangement order among the plurality of objects on the touch screen.
Abstract:
An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention comprises: a housing including a first plate and a second plate spaced apart from the first plate; a touch screen display disposed inside the housing and exposed through a part of the first plate; a pressure sensing circuit disposed between the first plate and the second plate, and configured to detect pressure caused by an external pressure applied to at least a part of the touch screen display; a wireless communication circuit disposed inside the housing; at least one processor disposed inside the housing and electrically connected to the touch screen display, the pressure sensing circuit, and the wireless communication circuit; and a memory disposed inside the housing and electrically connected to the processor, wherein the memory is configured to store an application program including a user interface and instructions, wherein the instructions are configured to cause the processor to, when executed, display at least one object on the user interface on the touch screen display, detect a pressure level for a user input in the at least one object or in the periphery thereof by using the pressure sensing circuit, and select one of a plurality of operations, related to the at least one object, on the basis of at least one part of the detected pressure level. Other embodiments are also possible.
