A system and method are provided for generating a signal strength map by a master device. The method includes operations for receiving, from a set of fixed transmitting devices, registration information including location, a type of signal and a device identifier (ID), receiving, from at least one receiving device, a set of parameters including location of the receiving device, strength of a first signal as received by the receiving device at a first location, type of the first signal, strength of a second signal as received by the receiving device at the first location, and type of the second signal, receiving at least one of the first or the second signal from at least one of the fixed transmitting devices, storing the received set of parameters, and generating a signal strength map representing strength of the first and the second signals at the first location.

A method for an electronic device configured to control a display device by using a watermark is provided. The method includes receiving a captured image of the display device from a remote control device, extracting a watermark from the captured image, acquiring a menu for the display device based on the watermark, and transmitting the menu to the remote control device for controlling the display device.

A method and computing device for providing Augmented Reality (AR) is provided. The method of providing AR includes detecting at least one physical object from a real scene obtained through a camera of a computing device, rendering at least one virtual object at a desired position of the detected at least one physical object on the real scene provided on a display, enabling communication through a command for interaction between the rendered at least one virtual object, and enabling the at least one virtual object to perform an action in response to command communication between the at least one virtual object.

A method and system for sharing an application among a plurality of electronic devices includes registering the plurality of electronic devices with a first electronic device. The method includes storing information regarding device capabilities of the plurality of electronic devices in a device information database. The method includes storing information regarding requirements of the application in the device information database. The plurality of electronic devices is selected by the first electronic device. The method includes executing the application in the first electronic device as a request initiated by second electronic device. Execution is performed by utilizing processor resources in the first electronic device. The method includes maintaining synchronization of the first electronic device and the plurality of electronic devices. The method includes rendering output data of the application in at least one of the plurality of electronic devices.
