Abstract: Electronic devices perform a login process differently depending on a type of authentication, and control methods are described. Electronic devices may include a communication module and at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to receive a signal for requesting transmission of user information stored in the electronic device via the communication module from an external electronic device operatively connected to the electronic device. Based on the reception of the signal, first type authentication or second type authentication different from the first type authentication is performed.
