Abstract: An electronic device comprising: a communication circuit; a memory; and at least one processor operatively coupled to the memory, configured to: acquire image data; identify a data transmission rate; in response to detecting that the data transmission rate fails to meet a threshold, apply a filter to the image data to generate filtered data, wherein the filter removes a portion of the image data that is associated with a given frequency band; and transmitting the filtered data to an external device by using the communication circuit.
