A method for displaying information at a foldable electronic device having a secondary display that is exposed when the foldable electronic device is folded, the method comprising: obtaining, by a processor, information associated with an exposure of the secondary display; displaying a first content item on the secondary display based on a size of an exposed area of the secondary display; and updating the secondary display in response to detecting a change in the size of the exposed area of the secondary display.

A method and electronic device for controlling a state of the electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device includes a touch panel, a front cover configured to cover the touch panel in a closed state, and expose the touch panel in an open state, and a control unit. An electronic device state is detected, including at least a sleep mode and an active mode, and a front cover state is detected, including at least the closed state and the open state. The electronic device state is maintained according to a first combination of the electronic device state and the front cover state. The electronic device state is altered according to a second combination of the electronic device state and the front cover state.

An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention comprises: a housing; a user interface; a first gas sensor disposed to sense gas outside the housing; a second gas sensor disposed to sense gas outside the housing and spaced apart from the first gas sensor, the second gas sensor being of the same type as the first gas sensor; a processor electrically connected to the use interface, the first gas sensor, and the second gas sensor; and a memory electrically connected to the processor, wherein the memory may store instructions, that when executed, cause the processor to: monitor the gas outside the housing using the first gas sensor to acquire first data; monitor the gas outside the housing using the second gas sensor to acquire second data; compare the first data and the second data; and provide, via the user interface, information associated with at least one of the gas, the first gas sensor and the second gas sensor, at least in part, on the basis of the comparison result. Other embodiments are also possible.

The wearable devices include a main body that has at least one opening and a thermoelectric generator that is seated in the opening. The devices include a pair of terminals that are electrically connected to an adjacent thermoelectric generator or a charge unit disposed on the main body, and a supporting member that is situated on a lower part of the thermoelectric generator and contacts the skin of a user, such that the thermoelectric generator includes a high temperature unit and a low temperature unit facing each other, and the high temperature unit is situated on the supporting member and the low temperature unit is disposed to face an outside environment.

The second housing supports a flexible display which may be at least partially exposed to an exterior, and at least partially stowed within the first housing based on the movement of the housings. A processor implements the method including detecting movement of the housings such that a visible display area of the display is changed, detecting whether the resizing meets a predetermined condition, and if resizing does not meet the predetermined condition, executing image processing on a portion of the resized visible display area.

An electronic device according to an embodiment may include a housing, a flexible display disposed inside the housing, at least one driving motor disposed inside the housing and configured to extend a part of the flexible display from the housing, a memory storing a display extension profile related to control of the driving motor, and at least one processor.
