Abstract: An embodiment of this disclosure provides a method and electronic device for attestation by proxy, the method comprising retrieving, by the electronic device, secure device data of the electronic device; performing, by an electronic device, attestation with an attestation server using a proxy server, wherein a validation result of the device is generated based on the secure device data; and communicating payment information with an application server when the validation result is trusted.
