Abstract: A display device includes a light guide plate, a light source unit adjacent to a side surface of the light guide plate and including a printed circuit board and a light source which is on the printed circuit board, and a connection member which connects the light guide plate to the light source unit. The light guide plate, the printed circuit board and the connection member together encapsulate the light source. The connection member includes a first inclined surface which contacts an upper surface of the light guide plate. The first inclined surface forms two angles with the upper surface of the light guide plate and an angle closer to the light source unit among the two angles is an acute angle.
