Abstract: A display apparatus includes: a display panel displaying an image, including a display area at which the image is displayed, and a non-display area which surrounds the display area; and a backlight unit which provides light to the display panel. The backlight unit includes: a light guide plate under the display panel and guiding the light; a light source generating the light and disposed at a side of the light guide plate; a coupling member coupling the display panel to the light guide plate, and disposed in the non-display area and between the display panel and the light guide plate; and a reflection member. The coupling member includes a first end facing the display panel and a second end opposing the first end thereof and facing the light guide plate. The reflection member disposed on the first end or the second end of the coupling member.
