    Abstract: A display device includes: a substrate; a plurality of light-emitting diodes above the substrate; a plurality of pixel circuits above the substrate and electrically connected to the plurality of light-emitting diodes; a scan line extending in a first direction above the substrate, where the scan line delivers a scan signal to the plurality of pixel circuits; and a scan driver between the substrate and the plurality of pixel circuits and providing the scan signal to the scan line. A distance between the scan driver and the substrate is less than a distance between the plurality of pixel circuits and the substrate.

    Abstract: Disclosed is display device that includes a display panel including a display surface shaped in a curve. The display surface is defined at an upper side of the display panel. A backlight unit is disposed at a lower side of the display panel. The backlight unit includes a light guiding plate bent along the bending axis. The light guiding plate includes an exit surface parallel with the display surface. The backlight units include a back surface facing the exit surface, and a plurality of connection sides connecting the exit surface with the back surface. At least one of the connection sides defines an incident surface. A circuit board is bent along the bending axis. A plurality of light emission units are electrically connected to the circuit board. The plurality of light emission units emits light to the incident surface. The bending axis is parallel to the incident surface.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel including a flat portion and a bending portion located at a side of the flat portion, an optical film attached on the flat portion of the display panel, and a bending protection layer covering at least a part of the bending portion and contacting one edge of the optical film. The edge of the optical film includes an upper surface, a lower surface and a side surface, the lower surface of the optical film faces an upper surface of the display panel, at least a part of the side surface of the optical film contacts the bending protection layer, and at least a part of the side surface of the optical film protrudes more, as closer to the upper side.
